THE MYSTERY OF THE REWARDS Dr. William Soto Santiago Thursday, November 6, 1997 (Second activity) Tigre, Buenos Aires, Argentina
**Scripture: Revelation 22:12** 12_ And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be._ WORDS OF GREETING IN MINISTERS MEETING Dr. William Soto Santiago Saturday, October 5, 1991 Bogota, ColombiaThat shows us that the Message of our age, of the Cornerstone, the Message of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, was reflected there in the Message of every age.Therefore, many things appear here being spoken, which were spoken in the Message of each age; and many promises that were spoken there appear being spoken here as well. They didn’t materialize back then, and they materialize here.Notice, they were promised the hidden Manna, but they were only given the Message of the second dispensation. But the hidden Manna, which is the Message of the Most Holy Place, wasn’t given to them there, because it is the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which corresponds to the Most Holy Place; and they lived in the Holy Place: the seven ages of the gentile Church.It was a promise that was mentioned back then, and materializes now when we receive the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom; and so each one of those promises.So we can already see these things, and so you can already see that each one of those promises that were spoken there: “To him that overcometh…,” those promises will be fulfilled to them when they are transformed, they have the new body; but to us they are fulfilled here.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] There is a writing in a Bible study, that he wrote:1[WSS] «He who receives Elijah, Moses and the Messiah, reward of the restoration of the Kingdom shall he receive, the adoption shall he receive».[JBP] In other words, notice that those who receive those ministries, become the overcomers of the end of the time, who receive the One whom the Lord sends. Therefore, they receive the blessings that were reflected in past ages and dispensations and they come to be fulfilled, materialized, in this end time, in each one of the elect belonging to the Mystical Body of Christ, which is His Church in the stage and Age of Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom. Those promises are for those belonging to that new dispensation.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] Our brother William continues saying [(MM) “WORDS OF GREETING”]:[WSS] When they are resurrected, they receive, these promises are materialized to them ([JBP] it is when they resurrect, is where it is going to materialize to them; but to us it is while being alive); but those promises were being reflected there, and they would be fulfilled in us here. We will talk about that on another occasion in more detail, taking each one of those promises and seeing how they are fulfilled here in the spiritual realm, and then looking at how they will also materialize in the literal realm.When we talk about those promises, we can’t find a way to stop.You see, one of those promises is [Revelation 2:26]: “To him that overcometh (it says something like this), to him will I give power over the nations. And he shall rule them with a rod of iron.”But notice that in none of the past ages were any of the messengers with their group able to use that authority over the nations.(...) Now, which of the seven messengers had authority over the nations?That authority over the nations will be given according to Zechariah, chapter 4, and Revelation, chapter 11; and from then onwards, the great tribulation will be to bring the plagues upon the kingdom of the gentiles and establish that authority over the kingdom of the gentiles, and pass the kingdoms of this world into the hands of God and His Christ2 ([JBP] that is, of His Anointed One).Because the kingdoms of the world will pass away and will be the kingdoms of our God for the glorious Millennial Kingdom; where they will be ruled, ruled with a rod of iron during the Millennial Kingdom as well.And thus will be the Government of the Lord Jesus Christ, a Government of peace, of love; but a Government where all nations will have to walk uprightly, in accordance with what is established for them in the Kingdom of God.It says that rain will not come upon them but the plague with which it will strike the nations that come against Jerusalem; regarding those nations that don’t go to Jerusalem to worship from year to year at the Feasts of the Tabernacles3 (I believe it is).So notice that it will be a Kingdom full of love, peace, happiness, but very strict, where everyone will know the Program of God, where the same Message that we are receiving will be taught. And then people will be able to worship God, serve God and walk in the Path of God, which is the Divine Program for the Millennial Kingdom.So see that these promises given in every past age at the end of time is when they are materialized. And then, the rest of those who lived in the past ages, at the end of time is when they receive the materialization of almost all or all these promises as established by God.At the end of time, in their resurrection, they also receive authority over the nations, in order to be fully place —in the Millennium— in function that authority as kings and priests; because a king and a priest without authority can’t be a king; that is why that authority over the nations is imparted to them at the end of time.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] In the book of Quotations4, there is a portion there, on page 90, where it tells us something very important. In paragraph 778 look at what it says here, it says:778 - “[64] So if that was so secret, when He come, how much more will the Rapture be unknown!”[JBP] That mystery of the Seventh Seal was a complete secret, which caused silence in Heaven for about half an hour.In other words, another place says: “Almost half an hour” [Reina Valera 1909], or “for about half an hour” [Reina Valera 1960]. So it is about 20 years that corresponds to half an hour before God; and it is a…, let’s say, a “more or less.”778 - “[64] Directly they’ll say, ‘Well, I thought we was supposed to have a Rapture. And all this judgment upon the earth?’65 He’ll say, ‘It’s already taken place, and you didn’t know it.’”[JBP] He writes at the top: [WSS] «The Coming of the Lord and the Rapture, and the resurrection and the transformation».778 - “[65] It’ll be so, just like a thief at the night.66 Like a book I read, one time. What is that called? Romeo and Juliet, is that what it was, or something? [WSS] «Moses and Elijah». He let, got the ladder up aside the house…”[JBP] See, “Someone”; that is, someone will have that ministry of Moses and Elijah, who will place, he places it like so, narrating this of Romeo and Juliet.778 - “[66] …Been a long time ago. And come, got his… to get her out at nighttime.67 Now, that’s the way that it’ll take place, and it’ll be gone. Not, they’ll send a bunch of Angels down, with some spades, and dig up the graves. The Bible said, ‘We’ll be changed, before even you could bat your eye.’ Just a twinkle, it’ll all be over, that quick.”[JBP] Now notice how God there shows us through Reverend William Branham how the rapture will be.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] Look, on page 151 of this book of Quotations5, paragraph 1345, it says:1345 - “[175] And the glory of God was in there, till the pe-... they couldn’t even see how to minister. Amen. It’ll close the eyes of every theologian, when He comes for His Bride. She’ll be taken up in the middle of the night…”[JBP] That is, because the world is in darkness; but in the children of God the promise is fulfilled that “to those who fear My Name, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise, and in His Wings (there are the ministries of Moses and Elijah) He will bring salvation, health (that is, He will bring that eternal and glorified body).”6 He is the one who will place the ladder to take His Bride, like the story of Romeo and Juliet.1345 - “[175] It’ll close the eyes of every theologian, when He comes for His Bride. She’ll be taken up in the middle of the night, as it was, to them. They won’t even see Her go.”[JBP] There he writes: [WSS] «they could not see how to minister».And he also writes:[WSS] «The Glory of God».«When He comes, He will close the eyes of every theologian».[Rev. Jose B. Perez] Now, let’s continue reading here, where our brother William continues telling us [(MM) “WORDS OF GREETING”]:[WSS] Well, you have seen, at some point we are going to take each one of those promises again.There is already a book titled “THE REWARDS,” “THE SEVEN REWARDS,” which talks about all this; but on an occasion, perhaps among ministers, we can give a more detailed review and touch more closely on how these promises, in our time and in these days in which we live, are to become a full reality for each one of us; and it has to be according to Scripture.Did you see in Revelation 11? That is authority over all nations being given, imparted to that ministry of the Two Olive Trees; and that is the Word incarnate to be able to perform all those things and make nature work in favor of the Divine Program and for the good of all the children of God.[JBP] That is in “THE SIXTH SEAL”; it speaks of the power that those ministries of Moses and Elijah will have. And notice that in order to have that authority it has to be given to the Word incarnate; in other words, it has to be a man in whom God is operating the ministries of Moses and Elijah in this end time.[WSS] Well, I think that with this we have already seen a little bit of the rest of the promises.For example, we also have: “To him that overcometh will I give the crown (of what?) of Life.”7 All those who departed in the past have eternal life, but do not yet have the eternal body; but in this end time we will receive the eternal body and the crown of Life in the fulfillment of that promise.If you continue as you are, I will have to keep on speaking to you, because faith pulls and makes one speak.[JBP] See, what we have been talking about during these days (of that); which God has given us in these days. On Monday, I believe it was Monday, or Tuesday, and yesterday8, which was a day where God opened many things to us, which were only going to be comprehended and understood and received by the chosen ones of this end time. Because it is the time where that Church-Bride, who is about to be raptured, needs to know all those things.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] Now, he says [(MM) “WORDS OF GREETING”]:[WSS] But always remain like so, prepared, with that desire to receive, to hear and receive the Word that corresponds to our time; to know the things that we should know; to know all the things that He said, of which we read last night when He said: “The Spirit, the Holy Spirit, the Comforter will come and teach you all things.”9[Rev. Jose B. Perez] Now in the message:OVERCOMERS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST (Ministers Meeting) Dr. William Soto Santiago Saturday, March 26, 2005 Cayey, Puerto RicoHere we have the Overcomer who inherits all things. All things that were promised in the different ages, now there is an Overcomer who will inherit all things.And now, this – of this one Christ says:[Revelation 21:7] “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”Therefore, he will be one of the children of God through Jesus Christ, he will be a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.And now, we have seen that Christ, just as He gave the victory to each messenger, He will give the victory to His Angel Messenger…[JBP] Because every messenger of every age of the Church comes to be the angel messenger of the Lord Jesus Christ of that age in which He has sent him.[WSS] And now, we have seen that Christ, just as He gave the victory to every messenger, He will give the victory to His Angel Messenger; and He will give him, not only the spiritual victory but the physical victory, where He will give him an eternal, immortal, incorruptible and glorified physical body, like the glorified body of Jesus Christ our Savior.[JBP] In other words, when he says that “He will give him the victory not only spiritually,” see, the spiritual victory is when we receive Christ as our Savior, we wash our sins in the Blood of Christ, we were baptized in water in His Name, and there we obtained the victory, and we obtained the first portion; we become part of the Mystical Body of believers; that is why He says that “he will be a member of the Church.”And already, by giving him the spiritual victory, then: “To him that overcometh,” that is, to the one who will be alive, He will then give him the victory of his eternal physical and glorified body.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] Look, in the book of Quotations, on page 40… notice how everything was spoken (as we read at the beginning), and comes to be materialized now in this end time. But everything had to be spoken.Notice, we repeat that little sentence (which we read at the beginning), it says [(MM) “WORDS OF GREETING”]:[WSS] Therefore, here many things being spoken appear, that were spoken in the Message of every age; and many promises appear which were spoken back then, being spoken here also. There they did not materialize, and here they materialize.[JBP] Notice, what we were talking about yesterday: what that dispensational interlace is, and where the same thing that happened in the Church ages also happens in the ages of the Dispensation of the Kingdom. What was spoken in those different stages and ages, now comes to be materialized in our time.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] Now look at page 40, in paragraph 523, it says [Quotations]10:323 – “[193] Then Ruth was rewarded, by getting Christ… or getting Boaz ([JBP] because Boaz represents Christ there) for her husband. Which, the Church is rewarded, by when the Coming of the Lord shall come, on that bright and cloudless morning. We’re resting, waiting now…” [WSS] «the Rapture».[JBP] And he writes: [WSS] «Marriage: Ruth rewarded / in the morning, in the Coming of the Lord ».[Rev. Jose B. Perez] He continues saying [(MM) “OVERCOMERS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST”]:[WSS] That will be the Angel Messenger that will have the ministry of the Last Day, will have the Word of Christ in His mouth; and he will be the instrument through whom Christ will be speaking to His Church, to the foolish virgins and to the whole world, and to the Hebrew people also.He will have no other instrument after that one; with him, He will continue from the gentiles to the Hebrews and to the whole world as well; and with him, He will also continue in the Millennial Kingdom.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] Notice that the Third Pull…, paragraph 1057 of page 119, says… in the last little part of this paragraph [Quotations]11:1057 - “[44] We’re right at the age now, and it can’t be, can’t go any further. We have to wait just a minute until this happens over here, to catch up, then the time comes. (...)49 It’s tightening. And then when that time comes, and the press comes to a place to where you’re pressed out, then watch what I’m fixing to tell you in a few minutes. Watch the Third Pull then, see, and it’ll be absolutely to the total lost, but it—it will be for the Bride…”[JBP] That is what he is talking about there: that that ministry, which God will have at the end of time, through that instrument that will be in the Last Day, he says that [WSS] “it will be… and he will be speaking to His Church, to the foolish virgins…”In other words, first he says: “to the Church, the foolish virgins…” In other words, the Church (the Church-Bride); the foolish virgins (the fatuous); and the world (that is, the lost); and there we also know that it is also for the Hebrew people.Because it is a ministry that will be in the midst of the Church in this end time, working and fulfilling the Third Pull; of which we have already been a little while in this Dispensation of the Kingdom, and that ministry has already been working in the midst of His Church; and it has been increasing every day and is going in a progressive way until reaching the part where brother Branham was transported there, where the Angel showed him in that Vision all that was happening.But from what we can see, it was already a ministry that had already been ministering for some time, bringing the Word to the people and bringing what the people needed to receive, which was the Rapturing Faith.Because at that time and in those days the resurrection was already going to be taking place; therefore, there was already a period of time in which the people were being prepared, receiving from God, through those ministries…; that is, through those ministries from God; everything that corresponded to the content of the Thunders, everything that had to do with the Rapturing Faith.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And notice how there he tells us that [(MM) “OVERCOMERS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST”]:[WSS] …will be the instrument through whom Christ will be speaking to His Church, to the foolish virgins and to the whole world, and to the Hebrew people also.He will have no other instrument after that one; with him, He will continue from the gentiles to the Hebrews ([JBP] because the Hebrews will see Christ in the midst of His Church, that is, they will see the Messiah in the midst of the Church, and say: “This is the one that we are waiting for”), and to the whole world as well; and with him, He will also continue in the Millennial Kingdom.Therefore, Christ will give the victory to that messenger and the group of that messenger at the Last Day, and we will be physically more than overcomers through Jesus Christ our Savior.Spiritually we are overcoming, we have had a few victories, and Christ will continue giving us more spiritual victories; and He will also give us the physical victory where we will be transformed and we will be in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ our Savior.We are more than overcomers through Jesus Christ12, we are: OVERCOMERS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And now notice, in a writing, also from a Bible study, which we had read it once, directly from the book “QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS,” but here it is in an excerpt that was placed in a Bible study. This is from the message “QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS,”13 it says (this portion that was placed there):321. Brother Branham, if you have time please explain Matthew 10:41. I would like to know what is a prophet’s reward?[JBP] And brother Branham says:220 Well now, Jesus said, “Whosoever receive a prophet in the name of a prophet, receives a prophet’s reward.” [JBP] Now, remember that today’s topic is “THE MYSTERY OF THE REWARDS.” And look at this such beautiful reward here. He says:[220] …Jesus said, “Whosoever receive a prophet in the name of a prophet, receives a prophet’s reward.” A prophet’s reward is to be a friend with the prophet. Whosoever receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man, receives a righteous man’s reward. Is that right? And if they want to know what a prophet’s reward is, is to be a friend to the prophet. See? That’s a reward. He’s your friend.[JBP] And brother William writes: [WSS] «Prophet’s reward = to be a friend of the prophet».[JBP] And in that message, in that booklet, he also writes that. (Which we talked about, around November I think it was, Study 254 around there, or 256 around there, November – part 2, we read this portion)14.And since today’s topic had to do with rewards, it was also worth reading, since he had also written it here, in this Bible study, which tells us about that beautiful reward.Well, let’s stand up, and we are going to leave with us in this subject: “THE MYSTERY OF THE REWARDS”; which at this time, all the ones that are yet to be fulfilled, will be fulfilled; they have been fulfilled, are being fulfilled and will continue to be fulfilled.And we hope that soon God will fulfill the promise of the resurrection; and thus, upon fulfilling that promise, each one of us will obtain the reward of the new eternal and glorified body.“THE MYSTERY OF THE REWARDS.”We thus leave immediately with us our dear brother and friend, Dr. William Soto Santiago.* * *
