TITLE: THE MYSTERY OF THE UNIVERSE IN A CLAY VESSEL TODAY Dr. William Soto Santiago Sunday, August 10, 1997 (Fourth activity) Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico
**Base Scripture: Revelation 5:1-10** **THE MYSTERIOUS BOOK AND ITS TRAJECTORY ** _Dr. William Soto Santiago _ _Sunday, March 21, 1982 _ _(Second activity) _ _Maturin, Monagas, Venezuela_ Heaven, you know it is not a place to cry, Heaven is not a place to be sad, it is not a place to be lamenting; it is a place to enjoy the happiness, the joy of the Lord. But John being in Heaven, and seeing the Almighty God sitting on the Throne with the Book in His hand, he wasn’t happy, he wasn’t rejoicing; he was very sad. Can you imagine a person like the apostle and prophet Saint John, who gets to Heaven, where everybody wants to get to; and then, when he gets there and finds himself in the presence of God, then he starts crying when he hears that a powerful Angel, a Mighty Angel, comes and says: “Let someone come forward to take the Book and open its Seals”?1Can you imagine a man like John weeping because there is no man there in Heaven to open that Book? [Rev. Jose B. Perez] “That Book…,” I had it here, but let’s read what brother Branham talks about… which is an abstract book. It says… Page 70 [p. 84 in Eng.] [The Seals]:118 What is this Book of Redemption, this title deed, abstract title deed? ‘You say, ‘abstract’?’ What does an abstract mean? Means it’s searched all the way back to its beginning. Like that little—like that little drop of ink this morning, when it struck that bleach, it went all the way back. And when sin has been confessed and fallen into the Blood of Jesus Christ, oh, my, it gives an abstract, right straight back to the Creator again. You become a son of God. Abstract title deed is held in the hands of the Almighty. Oh, my!119 Its redemption means all legal possession to all that was lost by Adam and Eve.And our brother William continues to say here:It is that John understood what that Book meant and he understood the meaning of the opening of that Book. He understood that if that Book wasn’t opened, the whole Creation was lost, the whole Creation would have a sad ending. John wept a lot for that; he wasn’t comforted. There was only one consolation for John, and he didn’t see it, no one told him anything that could console him. But suddenly came near, towards John the beloved disciple, an old man, and he tells him something that was going to comfort him: he speaks to him words of comfort, he speaks to him words that will change John’s sadness and weeping into joy and rejoicing; he says to him: “John, weep no more. Behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah, who has prevailed, who is worthy. Behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah. John, weep no more. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the Book and to loosen its Seals.”2[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And it tells us in the book of The Seals, page 75 [p. 91 in Eng.]... it says:162 He asked for the Kinsman Redeemer to step forward, if He could. But John said, ‘No man was worthy.’163 Not that there wasn’t worthy people there, now, like an Angel; like, for instance, we would say, Gabriel, or Michael. But, remember, it had to be a Kinsman. Remember, John said here, ‘And no m-a-n,’ not Angel, not Seraphim. They hadn’t sinned, but They were in a different category. They had never fallen.164 But this had to be a Kinsman Redeemer. ‘No man,’ ’cause there was none of them redeemed. ‘No man was worthy to look at It.’ Oh, no! My, my! So, it took a human Kinsman. And he asked for it, and He wasn’t found, nowhere. There was nobody.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] There brother William says: [WSS] «There was no redeemed man in an eternal body. All was lost and John wept».He had the book of The Seals, but the one that was prepared for him… This was the one that Harry, I think he was the one that prepared it for him, Harry Acevedo, our brother Harry Acevedo, and the… Soto was it? They collated it for him. And he also used the blue one. And in both of them, well, he would write; but in this blue one, when he is reading about all that of John, he wrote next to it [WSS] «John wept, John wept, John wept, John wept, John wept, John wept, John wept, John wept». No more than eight times, he wrote there next to that that he… that our brother Branham is reading there, from that time; that it was a crossroads, because if nobody showed up then all that He had redeemed would be lost, because there was nobody to make the claim.He goes on to say:[164] ‘No man was worthy to look at It.’ Oh, no! My, my! So, it took a human Kinsman. And he asked for it, and He wasn’t found, nowhere. There was nobody. No bishop, no archbishop, no priest, no hierarchy, no nothing was even… didn’t even have the holiness enough to even look at the Book. Whew! My, my! That’s pretty strong, but that’s what the Bible said. I’m just quoting what John said.The Bible said that John ‘wept.’165 Not as some people has taught it. I was hearing a man teach this one time, said, ‘John wept because that he found himself not worthy.’ Oh! Any man under the Holy Spirit would know different from that, see; under the inspiration of God, would know different from that.166 But, John ‘wept.’ Here is what I think he wept for. Because, if no one was worthy and could open this Book of Redemption, the whole creation was lost.167 Here is the Book, here is the title deed, and It will be offered to the Kinsman Redeemer that can meet the qualifications. That’s God’s Own law, and He can’t defile His law, can’t defy His law, rather. See? God required a Kinsman Redeemer Who was worthy, Who was able to do it, Who had the substance to do it.168 And the Angel said, ‘Now let that Kinsman Redeemer step forward.’169 And John looked. And he looked all over the earth. He looked beneath the earth. And there was nobody. There, creation and the everything was lost. Of course, John wept. Everything was lost.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And even that he…, God reflected it there; because John, besides representing, typifying, the Church of the Lord, he also represents the final messenger. And he was without consolation on one of the nights. I was saying to him: “Brother William, is it the… the lungs, or the illness?” He would say to me: [WSS] “No Benjie, it is not the illness, this is spiritual.”And then when he would talk to me about how he went through the first, second, third, fourth, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh stage in victory, and in the eighth stage they told him… he had the victory and in the eighth stage he was told: “You have to go back.” God was reflecting something there in him; he lived that; because he knew that if that event did not happen there in Heaven, all was lost. But he would say to me afterwards: [WSS] “I have the Title.”[169] Of course, John wept. Everything was lost.170 His crying didn’t last but just a minute, though. Then there stood one of the elders, said, ‘Don’t weep, John.’ Oh, my! His crying didn’t last but just a minute.171 John thought, ‘Oh, my, where is the Man? There stands the prophets; they was born like I was. There stands the sages. There stands… Oh, ain’t there nobody here?’172 ‘I want a Man that’s able to do it. I want a Man that can redeem.’173 And he wasn’t found, so John broke out. Oh, everything was lost; and he wept bitterly. And he—he was sad, ’cause everything, the whole creation, everything was gone, if they couldn’t find somebody. Glory to God! If they couldn’t find somebody that can meet that requirements, there… every human being, and the whole world and creation, was gone. Oh, everything had fallen. The—the—the rights of redemption, the rights of—of Eternal Life, the Light, all these rights had been forfeited, and there was nobody who could pay the price. And John starts crying, ’cause no one was worthy, and no one could even look at the Book. Oh, it took a human being. John wept, because no one could do it, and everything was lost.174 And there came a voice from one of the elders, standing in midst the four Beasts and all that great host of Heaven, said, ‘Don’t weep, John.’ Oh, my!175 [Brother Branham claps his hands together two times—Ed.] Grace of God!176 ‘Don’t be brokenhearted, John. Don’t weep. For the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root and Offspring from David, He has prevailed.’177 Prevail means ‘wrestle with, and overcome.’[Rev. Jose B. Perez] He had written here: [WSS] «All was lost if the Like Redeemer, a human being, did not appear»_._ That is page 76 [p. 92 in Eng.].And he says:[178] ‘...has prevailed, has overcome.’179 Like Jacob, being supplanter. And when he got in contact with the Angel, he held on. And the Angel tried to pull away. He said, ‘I—I’m just not going to let You go.’ He held on until he got what he wanted for. And his name was changed, from supplanter, which means ‘deceiver.’ To what? To ‘a prince with God,’ Israel. He prevailed.”[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And there he… there is a part here too, to read it to you also and have it there. Here he says: “Prevail means ‘wrestle with, and overcome.’” And in Seals, page 115 [p. 137 in Eng.], he says:153 We all know, as Christians, that God swore to David that He would raise up Christ to sit on his Throne, and give Him an everlasting kingdom here on the earth. He did it.154 And Jesus said, ‘He that overcomes the antichrist and all the things of the world, (brother William writes there: [WSS] «He who overcomes the antichrist, I will let him sit with me on my Throne» there in that part) shall sit with Me on My Throne, as I have overcome and have sit down on My Father’s Throne.’ See?155 Now, someday He rises from the Father’s Throne, and goes to take His Own Throne.156 Now He comes forth to call His subjects. How is He going to claim them? He’s already got the Book of Redemption in His hand…He goes on to say, here in the study:1(...) John sighed deeply: “At last, the Redeemer has arrived!” What if he had not come? If he had not arrived, then John’s weeping would continue for as long as he existed; for weeping and pain would be for all mankind. We find that John, as soon as he sees him, changes that attitude: he changes the attitude of sadness and pain, into an attitude of joy and rejoicing; because he knew what that meant, he knew that the Lord was there to reclaim all that He redeemed by His Blood. There was the Redeemer to claim the Title Deed, the mysterious Book, which no one could even open, no one could take it, no one could even look at it. But there was one: The Redeemer, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, who could look at it, could take it, and could open its Seals! The one they were waiting for arrived, the Desired One3 of all in Heaven. [Rev. Jose B. Perez] And remember, there on page 80 [pgs. 96-97 in Eng.], he talked about…, he talks about that, about… [The Seals]: [208] So, here come the Lamb, now. His intercessory days is over, the mediatorial days.209 That’s when this Angel is going to stand there. You wait till we get in the Seals. ‘And time shall be no more.’ That’s right. That ‘half hour of silence.’ Watch what takes place in that half hour of silence (and we are currently in that half hour of silence, it already started), when that Seventh Seal, next Sunday night, the Lord willing.And he continues in this excerpt: **THE BOOK THAT A MAN ATE ** _Dr. William Soto Santiago _ _Sunday, March 21, 1982 _ _Maturin, Monagas, Venezuela_ We find that when the Mighty Angel descends, being the Lord in His Second Coming, that is nothing less than the fulfillment of the messianic promise among the gentiles. But whose turn will it be to make known those great mysteries that were hidden in that Book? Whose turn will it be to make known the great mystery for which there was silence in Heaven for almost half an hour? The Book comes open; the Seventh Seal was opened in Heaven, but what was in that Book wasn’t made known. So, we find that that Seal is opened or made known here on Earth. He who eats the Book will have that secret within, because he has eaten the Book that was opened in Heaven; for it was brought to him here on Earth that he might eat it and speak what was within. He will not speak of himself, he will speak what he has within; for he has eaten it. And he ate it when he ate the little Book that the Mighty Angel brought open in His hand. Now, you can see the path taken by that mysterious Book that was in Heaven: First we find it in the hand of Him who sat on the Throne, in the hand of Almighty God; then from there it passes into the hands of the Lion of the tribe of Judah, who had been the Lamb interceding for all the elect at the Throne of Intercession in Heaven; then that Mighty Angel descends from Heaven, who is the Lord at His Second Coming, and comes with that Book open in His hand because He opened it in Heaven; and then He passes that Book into the mouth of a man. [Rev. Jose B. Perez] In the book of The Seals, on page 78 it says… In the book, in the other book he wrote there [WSS] «The door of the East»; in this one he wrote something there that we all are interested to know. On page 78 [p. 94 in Eng.] of the book of The Seals, it says:[190] ‘But He’ll come through Juda.’191 ‘And the Lion, the symbol of the tribe of Juda (Above he wrote: [WSS] «as the messenger from the East, the messenger to the Jews», and the tribe of Judah is [WSS] «from the East», he wrote above there) has prevailed. He has overcome.’192 And when he looked around to see where that Lion was, he saw a Lamb. Strange, look for a Lion and see a Lamb. The elder called Him a Lion. But when John looked, he saw a Lamb, ‘A Lamb as It had been slain from the foundation of the world.’” [Rev. Jose B. Perez] And in the book of The Ages, on page 17 [pgs. 24-25 in Eng.] it says, of this book, it says: “Do you see it? The LAMB, the High Priest holding His blood as an atonement on the mercy seat for our sins is the Lord God Almighty. That is His present office. That is what He is doing now, pleading His blood for our sins. But one day that Lamb will become the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. He will come forth in power and glory and take His authority to reign as King. He is the coming King of this earth. Of course, that does not say He is not King now. For He is our King, King of the Saints. Right now it is a spiritual kingdom.”He goes on to say here:Now, you can see that this man heard the Voice that told him: “Go and take the Book from the hand of the Mighty Angel, go and tell him to give it to you.” By what authority should he ask for that Book? It is that he has been chosen to… not in Heaven; not to take the Book in Heaven, from the hand of Him who sat on the Throne, but here on Earth to take that Book from the hand of the Mighty Angel who descends from Heaven. [Rev. Jose B. Perez] Also on 83 [p. 101 in Eng.], he tells us [The Seals]:[239] God’s law required a Kinsman Redeemer. And the Lamb come out, holding It, ‘I am their Kinsman. I am their Redeemer. I now… I have made intercession for them, and now I’ve come to claim their rights for them.” Amen. There’s the only One. “I’ve come to claim their rights. In that, they have a right to everything that lost in the fall, and I’ve paid the price.’240 Oh, brother! Whew! Don’t that make you feel religious inside? ‘Not by good works which we have done, but by His mercy.’241 Oh, wait a minute! And them elders and everything else begin to throw off crowns, and dignitaries begin to get on the ground, see.”([Rev. Jose B. Perez] Here in the book of The Seals, on page 80 [p. 96 in Eng.] he also says: “[208] Oh! I… Don’t you just feel like just going over in a corner, sit down and cry a while?”). [240] ‘Not by good works which we have done, but by His mercy.’241 Oh, wait a minute! And them elders and everything else begin to throw off crowns, and dignitaries begin to get on the ground, see.No one, no one could do it.242 And He walks right up to the right hand of God, and took the Book out of His hand, and claimed His rights. ‘I have died for them. I am their Kinsman Redeemer. I am. I am the Mediator. My Blood was shed. I have become Man. And I did this in order to get that Church back again, the One I foresaw before the foundation of the world. I have purposed It. I spoke It, It would be there. And nobody was able to take It, but I went down and done it, Myself. I am their Kinsman. I become kinfolks.’ And He takes the Book. Amen!”[Rev. Jose B. Perez] Let’s continue here; he says:243 Oh, Who is waiting There for me tonight? Who is that One, church, that’s waiting There? What else could wait There for you? That Kinsman Redeemer! Oh, my! What a sublime statement, or act!244 Now He has the title deed to redemption. He has It in His hand (and he writes there: [WSS] «the little Book of the 7 Seals»). Mediation is done now. He has It in His hand. Remember, It’s been in the hand of God, all the time, but now It’s in the hand of the Lamb. Now watch. The title deed of redemption, of all creation, is in His hand. And He’s come to claim It back, too, for the human race. Not claim It back to Angels. Claimed It back to the human, which It was given for, to make sons and daughters of God again; bring them back to the garden of Eden, everything they lost; the whole creation, the trees, the animal life, everything else. Oh, my!245 Don’t that make you feel good? Whew! I thought I was tired, but I’m not now. See? Sometimes I think I get—getting too old to preach, and then I go to seeing something like that, and I think I’m a young man again. (Amen). [Rev. Jose B. Perez] And he goes on to say here… There is an excerpt that he… and we go little by little here in all of this which is so beautiful. He says, in this study of this message that he preached on May 3, 2002 in Paraguay, and he titled it: “THE THINGS THAT MUST HAPPEN SOON,” he says, he wrote there:[WSS] «The 1st Adam lost the book. The 2nd Adam, Jesus Christ, obtains it and gives it to a prophet (a man) (the Angel of Jesus represented in Saint John) to eat it and then prophesy over the human race the things that are to happen to the nations after Christ rises from the Throne of the Father, the Throne of Intercession and does His Reclaiming Work as King and Judge».And he goes on saying here:And when he takes it in his hand, he will not pass it to another person. When he takes it in his hand, the Voice of the Lord says to him: “Put it in your mouth, eat it.” That is the safest place for such an important Book to be. He had to eat that Book because he was a prophet. And since he was a prophet, then he had to eat that Book in order to be able to speak according to what he had eaten. And “man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” There you can see a man, a prophet, eating the Word of God, the Book of God; and with that he feeds his belly. In his mouth it is sweet but in his belly it was bitter. And then it is said to him: “It is necessary that you did that, because it is necessary that you prophesy again.” Ah, then, if it is necessary to prophesy again…: “It is necessary that you prophesy again,” then he had prophesied before. Who will this man be? He had prophesied before on other occasions, but it was necessary for him to prophesy again, to prophesy once more; to walk the prophetic path once more. [Rev. Jose B. Perez] In the book of The Seals it tells us, on page 314 [p. 370 in Eng.], that little part says:329 Notice, these men are kept alive by God, from their original ministry, for future service; they served it so well. See? Just think, that spirit of Elijah ministers five times; Moses, two. What? Keep alive for farther, further service.330 They were neither one of them dead now; don’t you believe that. They were both seen, alive, talking to Jesus on Mount Transfiguration. But, remember, they must die.331 Now, now, Moses actually died. But he rose, (he wrote there: [WSS] «Moses resurrected») ’cause he was a perfect type of Christ.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] Now, there is a place that I was looking for. It is in this message4 that he talks about Moses passing... there is a little part here, it must be written in the back in the… Here it is, on page 8, and there after we see what he wrote above. On page 8 [pgs. 7-8 in Eng.], look what brother Branham talks about; here at the end he says:[35] Frankly, I don’t believe he ever was buried (he’s talking about Moses there). I—I believe that the God packed him away, and—and he died on the Rock that he had followed all the days of his life.36 And he was a perfect type of Christ. He was a king over the people. He was a law-giver. He was a—he was a—a sustainer to the people. He was everything, in—in type, that Christ was.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And he writes here, back here: [WSS] «Moses was never buried», and above he writes: [WSS] «nor will he be – Revelation 11».[Rev. Jose B. Perez] Well, let’s continue reading here, it says [The Seals]:331 Now, now, Moses actually died. But he rose, ’cause he was a perfect type of Christ. See? Nobody ever knowed where he was buried. The Angels come took him. See? He had Angel pallbearers. Uh-huh. Why? No mortal man could pack him where he was going. He just went through an act, that’s all. He had Angels, pallbearers, see, ’cause They took him where he was supposed to be. No one knows.332 Even to Satan, didn’t even know. He disputed with the Archangel ([WSS] «Michael»). That’s right. He couldn’t understand what happened to Moses. ‘I seen him trembling over there. And looking out over the land, and looking back to the children, and so forth, I seen him trembling. But he stepped up on the Rock ([WSS] «Christ»), and that was the last time I saw him.’”[Rev. Jose B. Perez] See? He continues saying here:Who will be that man who has prophesied on other occasions and who has that appointed ministry to prophesy for the last time on Earth? That is none other than Elijah. Elijah is that prophet who has to eat that Book, because it is his turn to prophesy again and for the last time, in his fifth ministry. He can’t prophesy of himself, he has to prophesy the Word of God. [Rev. Jose B. Perez] There is one, also from this same message, he writes there something very important, and he says [“THE THINGS THAT MUST HAPPEN SOON”]****:Remember… He says, he writes:[WSS] «Enoch 7th from Adam said:he had the prophetic Revelation: The Prophecy of the 2nd Coming of Christ with His Church, composed of millions of thousands, And Enoch had the rapturing faith, the Revelation of the rapture, which is the 2nd Coming of Christ, which the Church-Bride will have today with the Angel of Jesus revealing it to her».You see? And we… Enoch typifies the Church of the Lord. If Enoch was raptured, you and I are going to be raptured too, because we have that revelation of the Second Coming of the Lord.He goes on to say:And there we have the prophet Elijah eating the Book, being typified by John the beloved disciple when he was —in that vision— eating that Book; John typified him. Now, we have to understand these things, because these things are what will be happening in these last days. (...) And if the time is over when that happens, where are you going to go? Where are you going to go if the time is over when that Mighty Angel descends from Heaven? There is a place. If time is over, then you run for eternity. If you get out of time, you get into eternity. [Rev. Jose B. Perez] And in the message “WHY CRY? SPEAK!,” he says:70 I think, many times, if someone could just bounce into It at once, and wouldn’t understand It, or would understand It, rather, and come into It at once, it would almost send you to Eternity, just with such a rapturing thing! And never knowed it, and just, oh, break through the things that we have seen and know and understand, and all bounce in at one time.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] In the book of Quotations it was translated… This translation is a little… Paragraph 910 says: “I think, many times, if someone could just bounce into It at once, and wouldn’t understand It, or would understand It, rather, and come into It at once, it would almost send you to Eternity, just with such a rapturing thing! And never knowed it, and just, oh, break through the things that we have seen and know and understand, and all bounce in at one time.”[Rev. Jose B. Perez] See? That is a better translation.5 Here in this message, this translation is not very clear there. See? You can see what brother William is talking about there, where… He says:There is a place. If time is over, then you run for eternity. If you get out of time, you get into eternity. Then for you it is not a cause for fear that time runs out, because when time runs out, eternity is there to receive you. Eternity descends to Earth so that the children of eternity may enter eternity. (...) His Message then, prophetic, will be a Message that will have no limits: it can be translated into as many languages as possible, and the will of God will be done; because it is for many tongues. That Message will be the last of the messages; after that Message no other message will come; because it is the greatest Message of all messages. It is the Message that had to come last, because the Lord leaves the best wine for the last. And just as the wine stimulates, that Message, that divine revelation that that prophet Elijah will bring, will bring such a great stimulus to those who hear it and receive it, that they will be so rejoiced, they will be so happy and content, that they will be in the glorious Jubilee that was typified by God through the feast that He gave the people of Israel to keep, called the Year of Jubilee in the fiftieth year. [Rev. Jose B. Perez] And in the book of The Seals, on page 73, which tells us something about the earthly vessel, who was that earthly vessel. (On page 73 [pgs. 88-89 in Eng.] of this other book). It says:[145] There the mystery of redemption is sealed until… This Book could not be broken until the last angel’s Message.146 The scroll is there. We knowed It was there. We know that It was redemption. We believed It was redemption. Jeremiah said, ‘This scroll must be kept…’ As you read it there, he’ll say. He must be kept in a earthly vessel (See? Brother William writes: [WSS] «in Jesus»). See? Oh, what a beautiful thing there I could talk about, a while. This scroll was kept in an earthly vessel, a vessel that once became flesh (glory!), died, rose again, and kept in a earthly vessel until the time of the purchase. Oh, my! Beautifully! All right.147 Now, these Messages are all kept up until, this earthly vessel, until the time of God’s appointed time, at the last messenger at the earth. And all that these people had judged at, and said, ‘I know It’s there. I believe It’s there.’ And they fought at It, and brought It forth and produced the things. By faith they believed It. But now It’s going to be brought to us in revelation, and from the hand of God by vindication. God said so. He promised it.[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And for which generation would all this be? Brother Miguel spoke to us in these days something of the generation, which is the one we are in now. He says in the book of excerpts of “THE TENT VISION,” volume 1, page 183, he says:THE SECRETS OF THE SEVENTH SEAL THAT ARE TO BE REVEALED Dr. William Soto Santiago Wednesday, June 7, 1998 (Second activity) Cayey, Puerto Rico (Page 28)So that is going to be a reality for all of us in those moments of that great stage of the Divine Program; and that is very close; so close that most of you will be alive when that happens.In other words, it is not for another generation; it is for this generation of the Age of the Cornerstone, it is for this generation that God has raised up in this Last Day.* * *
