Greetings to you and to all who are with you on this occasion there in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, in the congregation that Reverend Josue Villaseñor pastors, and all those who are connected through the satellite Amazonas or internet, today Friday, February 24 of this year 2023.The subject we have for today is: **DISCERNING GOD’S THOUGHT AT THE LAST DAY** *Dr. William Soto Santiago Sunday, November 9, 1997 Asuncion, Paraguay* **Scripture: Isaiah 55:1-11**\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] We will read **chapter 4** of **Hebrews**, in **verse 1** and on, it says:^*1* \_Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.\_ ^*2* \_For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.\_ ^*3* \_For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.\_ ^*4* \_For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.\_ ^*5* \_And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.\_ \[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «The promised land HS 7th millennium»*. ^*6* \_Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:\_ ^*7* \_Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.\_ ^*8* \_For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.\_ ^*9* \_There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.\_ ^*10* \_For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.\_ ^*11* \_Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.\_ ^*12* \_For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.\_ ^*13* \_Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.\_ **DISCERNING GOD’S THOUGHT AT THE LAST DAY** \[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] In the message **“PROVING HIS WORD”**^{**[¹](#sdfootnote1sym)**} Reverend William Branham tells us… and here he is quoting from the Scripture (or a portion of it) that we read in Hebrews, chapter 4:^*\[164\]* *Hebrews 4:12, if you want to put this down. Hebrews 4:12, it said, “The Word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword, a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart.” Is that right? “A discerner.” To prove that He was the Word, what did He do? Peter came to Him, his name was Simon. And he came to Jesus, and He said… set down out there, and Jesus, as soon as he come to Him, He said, “Your name is Simon, and you are the son of Jonas.” Uneducated, no degree behind him, he had nothing but just a common fisherman, no education, the Bible said he was “ignorant and unlearned,” but he became the bishop of the church of—of Jerusalem. Why? Why? Jesus told him who he was, what his name was, and what his father’s name was. And he knew that that was the Word, because the Bible said, “The Lord your God shall raise up a Prophet like unto me,” and that had to be the Prophet, and there was no prophets promised after Malachi to the Messiah, four hundred years without a prophet. And here was a Man standing there, confirming, or proving His Word, to this man was predestinated to Life, said, “Your name is Simon, from hence… You’re the son of Jonas, from henceforth you’ll be called ‘Peter.’” Think of it! Who did He prove it to? Why didn’t He prove that Word to… Why didn’t He prove that Word to Caiaphas? He was God, He knew Caiaphas would never believe it. But this man was ordained to Life* (\[JBP\] that is, Peter)*, he knew It right then.*\[JBP\] And he writes there: *\[WSS\] «The sign of the Messiah: discern»*. ^*165* *One time standing in the midst, where another man a few days later went and got a buddy around the mountain, about fifteen miles from where they was preaching, brought him back the next day. He was standing there amongst, and come up to where Jesus was. Jesus looked around, He was God, see, He had discernment. That showed that, see, making the Word right, He proved the Word.**Now, some of them say, “You know, that Man’s the Word.”*^*166* *“Nonsense,” them priests said, “that guy ain’t. No. That ain’t the Word.”*^*167* *Said, “You know what the Scripture says, ‘The Lord our God shall raise up a Prophet like unto Moses.’ And that’s Him. Listen at Him.”*^*168* *Well, He said, “You’re, behold, an Israelite, in whom there’s no guile.”**This fellow said, “Rabbi, when did You know me?”*(\[JBP\] There he is speaking of Nathanael).^*169* *He said, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the tree, I saw you.” He knowed who would believe It.*^*170* *He said, “Rabbi, Thou art the Son of God. You are the Word.” Jesus proved He was the Word, by the Word.*^*171* *Notice the little woman at the well. She was looking for a Messiah. She had nothing to do with their big crowds and denominations, and so forth, they had in them days. She was looking for the Word. So a Man, one time, sitting over there, an ordinary Man, sitting over against the way, said—said, “Woman, bring Me a drink.”*^*172* *She said, “Now, wait a minute, He’s probably trying to get fresh with me,” she might have thought in her heart, ’cause she was marked a woman of ill fame. Said,* (\[JBP\] remember, she is talking there with Jesus) *“Why, You have… Why do You ask me a question like that? We got segregation here. You’re—You’re—You’re just a… You’re a Jew, we’re Samaritans, not… it’s not custom, it’s not right for You to ask me like that.” See?*^*173* *He said, “Woman, if you knew Who were talking to, you’d ask Me for a drink.”*^*174* *She said, “You, for a drink? I don’t even see a bucket or a rope. How would You ever give me any water from this well?”**He said, “That’s not the well I was talking about.” See?*^*175* *After a while, she said, “This is a strange Fellow.” So she started letting the waterpot up, pulling.*^*176* *Said, “Well, the water that I give would be springs of water, geysers, gushing up into Eternal Life, and in your soul.”*^*177* *“Well,” she said, “now, wait a minute, I—I understand, You being a Jew.” Said, “Now, you Jews,” said, “You mean to tell me that You’re greater than our father, Jacob, who dug this well?” He was the God of Jacob* (\[JBP\] that is, Jesus said)*. See? Said, “Do You mean that You are greater than—than Jacob, that dug this well?” An ordinary Man, see, looked like. That’s all you seen, an ordinary man. Said, “You say You’re greater than our father, Jacob, who dug the well, and he drank from it himself, and his cattle? Well, we are just blessed by drinking this well where that prophet digged.”**He said, “Uh-huh,” He said.**“And we worship in this mountain. You say ‘at Jerusalem.’”*^*178* *He said, “Salvation is of the Jew, woman, we know what we’re talking about.” He said, “You worship you don’t know what.” A Jew’s supposed to know the Word, see, what was supposed to be. But, see, He was watching now. Why? He’s going to… What is He going to do? Prove His Word. See? Why, she said… He said, “By the way, go get your husband and come here.”**And she said, “I don’t have any husband.”*^*179* *“Why,” He said, “you’ve told the truth, see, because you’ve had five, and the one you now have is not your husband.”*\[JBP\] Brother William writes at the top: *\[WSS\] «you have»*. ^*\[179\]* *See? Watch! Something happened, see, something took Life. Now, if it hadn’t have been in there to begin with, if she hadn’t have had representation from predestination, it’d have never took hold.*\[JBP\] See, she had predestination, because she had that from where she was being represented, she had a place that represented her.^*180* *There stood priests there, said, “This man is Beelzebub.” See, no representation.*\[JBP\] They did not have representation.^*181* Eternal Life*, “you always was.” See, you have Eternal Life, there’s only one form of it, that’s God. You were His attribute, He thought of you and knowed you before the foundation of the world, in His mind. See?*\[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «The attributes of God, children of God»*. ^*182* *She looked around. Look what a—what a sinful shape she was in. But, see, He couldn’t—He couldn’t get that priest, because the priest was an educated scholar, a theologian in the Word, but no representation in Heaven…*\[JBP\] That is, he is talking about the priests and Sadducees.^*\[182\]* *...see, wasn’t in God’s thinking at all. But this woman was.*\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] Now look, we are going to stop there for a moment. In the message “DISCERNING THE BODY OF THE LORD” on page 10… Remember, there she identified herself with the Word; because that Word that was with God in the beginning became flesh in Jesus; and since she was part and had representation there, notice how she proved that she was part of Him: by the representation she had. She was an attribute. Even being what she was and the sinful life she had.See what predestination is. “It is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.”^{[²](#sdfootnote2sym)}On page 10 and 11 of the message **“DISCERNING THE BODY OF THE LORD,”**^{**[³](#sdfootnote3sym)**} it says:^*\[67\]* *We can’t discern by what people think, what intellectuals tell us, what psychiatrists tell us. We got to go by what God says. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”* \[Matthew 4:4\]^*68* *“Not discerning the Lord’s Body; many are weakly and sick, many are asleep, dead, spiritually dead.” The last plague that hit Egypt was death. The last plague that’s hit the church is spiritual death.*\[JBP\] And he writes there: *\[WSS\] «The last plague that struck Egypt was death. The last one that has struck the Church is spiritual death»*. ^*\[68\]* *What we need today is a spiritual awakening, a spiritual awakening, to discernment.*\[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «We need an awakening to discernment»*. \[JBP\] He goes on to say \[**“DISCERNING THE BODY OF THE LORD”**\] \[P. 9\]:^*69* *These people might have done this, oh, with good intentions.*^*70* *That man down South, that doctor the other day, that give that man that sulfuric acid that killed him. He had good intentions. He thought he was right, but he had poor discernment. He didn’t discern his medicine.*^*71* *Like the little girl that was walking down the street, and she found a little kitty, and he was all wet and about half froze. And she took him in, opened up the oven door and put him in the oven, to get warm* (\[JBP\] Ha!, look)*. Her intentions was good, but her discernment was poor. Why, don’t… We don’t watch, we’re going to bake the kitty, too, with some of our intellectual discernment.**The communists is coming on us. World is coming on us.*^*72* *Our churches are broken up. “Men dividing themselves, separating themselves, not seemingly to have the Faith,” splitting hairs over little insignificant doctrines. We should come together, arm and heart, and pray, and fast, and call until God sends back the Holy Ghost, that we might have spiritual discernment.*^*73* *The hour has come at the end time now, we’re in the shadows of the Coming of the Lord, and the church can’t discern it. We’re living in the later hour than you think.*^*74* *If Paul could arise from the dead, tonight, in Middletown, you talk about a burning fire! They’d have him in jail before daylight, as “a maniac or a wild man.” That man, filled with the Holy Ghost, and see things going the way they are, and knowing that the time is at hand, there would be revival or they’d have to come to jail to hear him. That’s right.*^*75* *Now, oh, Jesus said, and the Bible speaks it. “In the last days, just before the Coming of the Lord, there shall be great signs and wonders taking place in the earth.” And you know, the church is so dead in theology, and all kinds of schoolings, and trainings, and educational program, till it can’t discern those things.*^*76* *Did not Jesus say to the church in His day, “You can discern the face of the sky, but the signs of the time you cannot discern. For if you would have known Me, you would have knowed My day”?*^*77* *The hour of the deliverance of the church, and they can’t discern it.*\[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «The hour of the deliverance of the Church: the Year of Jubilee»*. \[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] And remember in the quote… of page 163, of the book of ***Quotations***,^{[⁴](#sdfootnote4sym)} where he speaks to us of liberation, which is in paragraph 1458. See that last part there (you can read it all later), it says: *1458 - “*^*\[32\]* *And I looked up, and there stood the Lord Jesus with a—a—a lights of rainbow around Him.”*\[JBP\] Now remember that at the Coming of the Lord it will not be half of the rainbow, but it will be the whole rainbow. *1458 - “*^*\[32\]**He was looking right straight to me, said, ‘Deliver those people.’ And He went away.*^*33* *And I thought, ‘Well, how could I deliver them? I—I haven’t got strength enough in my arms to break those bars.’*^*34* *So I said, ‘House of hell, give way to the Name of Jesus Christ.’*^*35* *And all the creaking and popping, and—and rocks rolling, and—and bars falling; and people running, screaming, ‘Delivered!’ and screaming at the top of their voice, and was all delivered.*^*36* *And I was screaming then, ‘Brother Roy Borders, where are you? Where are you? God is delivering His people! Where are you, Brother Borders?’”*\[JBP\] And there the writings he placed there.^{[⁵](#sdfootnote5sym)}Now look, he writes there: *\[WSS\] «The hour of the deliverance of the Church: the Year of the Jubilee»*. \[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] He continues saying here, on page 11 of this message **“DISCERNING THE BODY OF THE LORD”** \[P. 10\]:^*\[77\]* *Something is wrong. I’m talking about the entire church, everybody that calls themselves Christian.*^*78* *God can start moving, and spiritual things happening, people getting saved and filled with the Holy Spirit; many thousands who call themselves Christians will pull back from It, and say, “Oh, That! That, That’s holy-rollers.” You haven’t got spiritual discernment.*^*79* *For, everything the Holy Ghost does is written in the Bible. Judge all things by the Scripture. That’s how we discern, to see if our discernment is right.*^*80* *If the Bible said, “Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever,” I believe It. If the Bible… If Jesus said, “The things that I do shall you do also,” I believe It. And if the Bible said, that, “The Holy Ghost is for every generation, as many as the Lord our God shall call,” I don’t believe a handshake takes Its place.*^*81* *I believe It’s the same Holy Ghost that fell then, showing the same signs, the same wonders. The best witness that we have, that we got the Holy Ghost, is when our spirit bears record with the Word.*\[JBP\] How beautiful it is to know that one agrees with the Word!And he writes there: *\[WSS\] «The evidence of having the Holy Spirit = receiving the Word»*. \[JBP\] She… what we were reading there, of the woman at the well, she received the Word in flesh. The Word was speaking to her there.^*82* *If we call ourselves Christians and say we’re filled with the Spirit, and we see that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is poured out on the believers for all ages, and our spirit tells us “That’s for another age,” you’re wrong.*\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] Now, where we left off, let us continue here on page 40 of **“PROVING HIS WORD”** \[P. 34\]. He says:^*\[182\]* *She said, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet.” That’s just all He wanted her to see. See? Said, “We believe that You are, I believe You’re a prophet. Now, we know. We don’t understand about the prophets now, because it’s real late, we know that there’s a Messiah coming. And when that Messiah comes, He’s going to be the Word. See, He’s going to know the secrets of the heart, He’s going to do the same thing that—that You did there.” Said, “You must be one of His prophets, to forerun Him or something.”**He said, “I am He.”*^*183* *What would He do? He was proving His Word, proving His position* (\[JBP\] and he writes): *\[WSS\] «the sign of the Messiah»**, proving what He was. God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself. And God is the Word. All right. He calmed the winds and the waves, to prove Isaiah’s prophecy, “He shall be called ‘The mighty God, the everlasting Father.’” See? He also multiplied bread and fishes, this virgin-born Son. What was it? To prove the Word. All Scripture has to be fulfilled. He proved the Word, by saying He was Jehovah made manifest. He was the beginning of the creation of God. God in creation, God with a little part of the creation here that God was living in Himself, He was the beginning of that creation of God, “From Him begets many sons.” Note, He also multiplied the fishes. He is the Word and the proof of the Word.*\[JBP\] Now, look at this other case; let us read it; he says:^*184* *Now listen close, as we come down towards the end. That day, that I read about a few minutes ago, now, when He come to the house of Jairus. He walked in, when He got there. Now, remember, Jairus was a—a priest, a borderline believer. He wanted to believe Jesus, but he hated to turn loose his church, ’cause they had said, “Anybody that believes on Him is going to be put out of the church.” Now listen closely now, in closing, give me very close attention. Watch this. I believe that Jesus knew that when He crossed the sea, ’cause He knew all things. And when He crossed the sea, stopped down there, and here come this little priest down. His girl got real sick, the doctors had give her up, said “She’s laying at the point of death.” Now, time come for action.*^*185* *Maybe that’s to you this morning, time has come for you to act. See? Maybe you’re real sick. Maybe you’re convinced that you’re wrong. It might. God forces the issue, time comes for action.*^*186* *Now closely. And he come, he didn’t care what the rest of them said, right out publicly, and come and fell down by Jesus’ feet. What a step for—for an educated scholar, to come to One that we don’t have record of ever going to school* (\[JBP\] that is, imagine, an educated scholar like Jairus, kneeling down before Jesus)*. How a man come, was supposed to be in all the theology* (\[JBP\] that is, Jairus)*, come to a Man that was supposed to be “a reprobate, a wild man, crazy man, out of His mind, didn’t even have his right mind.” Pardon the expression, but “He’s just a common crank of the day,” everybody thought Him that. As we’d say today, in the street expression, “Nut!” As I preached the other day on the nut and the bolt, you know. See, that’s what He was to the public, just a common everyday… Say, “Why, You’re out of your mind! You’re crazy! You’re a madman!”*\[JBP\] See the way that they thought of Jesus.^*\[186\]* *Now, here was a man who had all the scholarships, coming to the One that was supposed to be out of His mind. He was forced to it.*^*187* *Watch her now. It’s going to sting just a little bit, but it’ll be good for you. See, sometimes a shock wakes you up.*^*188* *Notice, He come and went in to the side of this little, dead girl, that died probably hours before, and they had done laid her out, and put the embalming fluid on her, and put it around the couch. That’s the way they did in them days, just packed them off and put them in a hole, on a board. She laid out on the couch, the flowers around her.*^*189* *And, oh, that fine little pastor, little Jairus, I imagine he was a nice little pastor, everybody loved him. Because, you see, I can prove that, because he did, in his heart, believe Jesus. But he just couldn’t hardly make the decision, ’cause he wouldn’t have a check coming in every Saturday or every Monday morning. See? He just couldn’t hardly make the—the decision.*\[JBP\] In other words, imagine, if he openly said that he believed in Jesus, he would be kicked out of the church, how he says, or from the synagogue; and then he was not going to get his paycheck, in other words, his income, to support himself.^*\[189\]* *And another thing, the people, the great fine prestige that he had amongst the people, they’d said, “You know what, Jairus has went fanatically. See, he went over there with that false prophet. That’s just exactly what he did, where all them suppose-to-be signs and things, that Prophet of Galilee, you know, Jesus of Nazareth.”*^*190* *We don’t believe it now, it sounds sacrilegious, but that’s the way it was then. See? “And, someday, as it is now, it’s going to be then.”* (\[JBP\] In other words, in His Second Coming, it would be the same way). *See, same thing!*^*191* *Now notice, he went over there. And he couldn’t hardly do that, but the time come where he was forced to do it. He had to do it. And here he went and got Jesus, right out before all of them, and fell down at His feet, and said, “Master! Master!” You know what that is? Rulership, ownership. Right* (\[JBP\] In other words, what “master” means).^*192* *See, a lot of people want Jesus to be their Saviour, but not their Lord. See,* Lord *is “ruler.” Yeah. You say, “Jesus, You save me and let me stand right here, and that’s all right, and I’ll do my own business. Now, You don’t get in my business. But You can be my Saviour, but not my Lord.” He wants to be Lord, you see, then He’s your Saviour.*^*193* *But now, he said, “Master, Saviour!” See? “I… my little girl, my only child, she’s twelve years old, the doctors has give her up.” No doubt the priest might have said this, “You know, they’ve all talked about You being a fanatic, but, You know, Master, I—I—I believe You. I believe. I know You have discernment. And the only thing I want You to say, is, just come lay Your hands upon her. And then tell me what to do, I’ll do it.” Oh, now you’re getting somewhere!**Said, “I’ll go. I’ll go.” And He started on.*^*194* *After he’d been gone for several hours, here come a man running with, as the custom was then, ashes on top of his head, said, “Don’t trouble the Man, your daughter died* (\[JBP\] In other words, they were walking and: “But she died already! Why are you bothering Jesus?”)*.* *She’s already dead, they’ve already fixed her and laid her out.”*^*195* *Oh, his little heart! Jesus turned them eyes, looked at him, he said, “Oh! Oh! Oh!”*^*196* *He said, “Didn’t I tell you?” Now, what He done there, He had promised Jairus. Now He’s got to prove that. Amen. “I told you. Just only believe and you’ll see the glory of God.”*\[JBP\] Remember that the Hebrew people, they will believe; because the Hebrew people look for signs; and in the Third Pull that is what they are going to see, but already in the culminating part. Because before, the greatest miracles and wonders that will be happening in the midst of the Church is the spoken Word, the revealed Word. That is the Third Pull: the Word being revealed. And the gentiles, the elect among the gentiles, that is the miracle that they will be seeing and they will be believing. And the Hebrew people, notice, they will see the manifestation of God, but already in the part of the signs and wonders.^*\[196\]* *“Just only believe and you’ll see the glory of God.” Now, He knowed what He was doing. He said He done nothing till the Father showed Him first. Saint John—Saint John 5:19, “I only do what the Father shows Me,” so He showed Him what was going to happen.*^*197* *So when He got into the house, and stood up there aside that little, cold stiff form laying there, been sick for weeks. And her little, pale body, no food had went into her body, and fevers and things, and she had—she had died. They had her all sprayed over with this embalming spice and stuff. And laying there, you know, on the couch and things, fixing to wrap her up and put her in a grave, and they put… had their little ceremony of having the flowers around her. Jesus come over. And everybody, “Oh, Jairus, your little girl’s dead! Oh, father Jairus, oh! We’re so sorry for you,” and everything.*^*198* *He said, “Oh, keep still; you make too much noise.” He said, “What all this tumult around here you’re doing?” You see? “This tumult, you just… you’re—you’re hollering and screaming. The girl’s not dead. She’s asleep. Shhh* (\[JBP\] does brother Branham).*”*^*199* *Then what did they do? When they heard Him say that she wasn’t dead, they… Said, “They laughed Him to scorn.” In other words, they boo-ed Him* (\[JBP\] see, there are the scoffers)*. “Boo!* (\[JBP\] says brother Branham) *Why, You! Why, You false prophet! Why, You deceiver of man! The girl’s dead. The doctor said she was. We’ve embalmed her, we’ve laid her out. She’s laying there, she’s dead.” They said, “Ha, ha, ha! Now, Jairus, you’ve been talking about Him, now what about it?”*^*200* *You know what He done? He said, “All of you get out of here.” Around such unbelief like that, it can’t work.*\[JBP\] And in the Age of the Cornerstone, for the resurrection to occur, there cannot be unbelief among the people; therefore, they have to be taken out and cast into Laodicea. Because that stage of resurrection and transformation and rapture is for believers; it is not for unbelievers. And the Angels are the ones who are doing that separation, that segregation: they cast them out, the unbelievers.^*\[200\]**Now, what had He said? He said, “Jairus, if you will only believe, you’ll see the glory of God.” Now, that’s His Word. He’s got to prove that. All right.*^*201**Then when He got into the house where they was all crying, He said, “She’s asleep.” That was contrary to science. That was contrary to common sense. She was dead, embalmed.*^*202**As soon as they died, they embalmed them right then, just as soon as the life went out of them, they poured that spices and stuff on them and wrapped them up and got them to go away. See, bury them, they bury them just, well, sometimes didn’t even notify the people. You know, Ananias and Sapphira; they done buried Ananias, when Sapphira… Ananias, when Sapphira had come in, you see; done took him out and buried him, you see. They just, soon as they’d die, they’d pour that stuff on them and take them out there and put them away. See?*^*203**So she was already ready to go in the grave, but they wanted to wait for papa to see her before they put her away* (\[JBP\] remember, he had gone to Jesus; and they were there waiting for Him to come, to then bury her)*. And when He comes in, and her in that condition, and He said, “She’s just taking a nap.”**Well, they said, “Now, if that Fellow isn’t truly crazy!”*^*204**So now what did He do? He had already said she was asleep, He had to prove His Word. He couldn’t do it before that bunch, so He said, “Put them all out.” And I can see Him look around to Jairus and say, “You still believe?”**“Yes, Lord.”*^*205**“You and your wife come here. Peter, James and John, you come with Me.”*\[JBP\] Now see, the same ones who were at Mount Transfiguration.^*\[205\]**They walked over there and called this word, talitha cumi, which means, “Little girl, rise up.” And He proved His Word, she was only asleep. Is that right? He proved here, His Word was right. Regardless of their unbelief, He still proved His Word was right, by waking her up, because He said she was asleep. She was asleep.*^*206**He’ll do the same someday, to every true believer, for His Word promised to. “They that are in Christ, will God bring with Him.” See, “They that are in Christ.”*^*207**What did this little Jewish girl do? I just started to bypass this Scripture here, but I—I’m going to—going to keep it. I know it may be a little late, and we’ll get to the prayer line in a few minutes. I won’t see you for another week maybe, but let’s wait a minute. “Man shall not live by bread alone.” See? Notice, let me just push this in now, to show you. Why did Jesus wake this little Hebrew maid up? Cause she knowed she wasn’t dead? Predestination. Just the same as He did Lazarus.*\[JBP\] And it will be the same for all those who have departed in the past ages and those of our time: that they will hear the Voice of the Son of God and will arise. The same way He did with this little Hebrew girl, the same as He did with Lazarus, will also happen in this end time with the believers in Him.^*\[207\]* *See? Perhaps there was many little maids died that same day, He never said a word to them. He knew this one had Eternal Life. See, He didn’t wake the rest of them up.*^*208* *Look, when He come out of Jericho, they say, “Here, this guy here!” No doubt they said, “You wake up the dead? You tell me that You can raise the dead, we got a graveyard full of them up here, come, wake these up.” See, He never even paid a bit of attention to them. See, never did it, because He knew He was the Word.*^*209* *Notice, she was only asleep. He knew the father would come. Now, this little girl, see, He knew that that little Jewish maid was only asleep. See, the—the righteous does not die. Jesus came to redeem the righteous. And, to redeem, means “to be brought back from where you once was.” See? He could not redeem the unbelievers, no matter how educated and how much doctors of degree they had. He could not redeem them, because they were not redeemable* (\[JBP\] an unbeliever cannot be redeemed, because he is not redeemable)*; they had to go to their destination. But, in His foreknowledge, knowed that Lazarus was coming out of the grave. He also knew this little girl had Eternal Life. So she was not dead, she was only asleep. And when our work is over on earth, if we don’t live until His Coming, we cannot die, we’re only asleep. He proved it here. He’ll prove it again. “Though the skin worms destroys this body, yet I’ll awake in His likeness.”*^*210* *He proves all of His Words, all of His Words. Just think of it, all of His Words! And you were His Word. He was the Word, and you were part of His Word. And, that’s the reason you’re sent here, to confirm your place in life. I—I—I don’t think you got that. See, He is the Word. Now you get it?*^*211* *He was in the feet, in Luther; in the thighs, in Wesley; in the shoulders, in Pentecost. See what I mean? He is the Head. You have a part that joins that together* (\[JBP\] and he draws a Cornerstone)*, this hour that we’re living now; not the feet part, not the thigh part, not the shoulder part, but the neck part. Is that right? It joins to the head. That’s the part of the body.*\[JBP\] That is in 1197, so you have it there, that last part that I read to you. Perez*\] In the message **“QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS #3,”**^{**[⁷](#sdfootnote7sym)**} of August 30 of 1964, which he preached in the morning, on page 37, he says (a portion here):^*\[152\]* *But when Solomon revealed to her* (\[JBP\] that is, to the queen of Sheba, who went to see Solomon; he says) *the secret in her heart, by a—a gift of discernment; which was called, then, wisdom. He discerned that. She knew that God was with Solomon, ’cause then… They had… She found out… If she come with that in her mind…*\[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «Discernment = wisdom»*. \[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] Our brother William continues to tell us \[**“THE WISE HEART OF THE WISE MAN DISCERNS THE TIME AND JUDGMENT”**\]:\[WSS\] But now, for the end time, it corresponds to the heart of the wise man of the Last Day to discern the time of judgment, the time when the great tribulation will come.And that one who will be discerning the corresponding time in which we have been allotted to live, will be making known to us all these things that must happen soon, because he will be discerning the Mind and heart of God through the Spirit of God; “for no man hath known the things of God, but (who?) the Spirit God.”^{[⁸](#sdfootnote8sym)}\[*Rev. Perez*\] In the book of *The Seals**,* there he tells us of this Angel who in the end time would be revealing to us these things that must soon come to pass, which brother Branham tells us is a spirit of a prophet that revealed to John the book of Revelation. On page 301 \[p. 355 in Eng. (Fifth Seal)\] of the book of ***The Seals*** in Spanish, says:^*202* And then according to the—the time that God was going to deliver the antediluvian world, He sent the eagle.And time He was going to deliver Israel, He sent the eagle.^*203* Do you believe that the time, even on John, on the Isle of Patmos, this Message was so perfect that He couldn’t trust It with an Angel? You know, an angel is a messenger. But do you know the messenger was a prophet? You believe that? \[Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.\] Let’s prove it. Revelation 22, let’s see if it was a eagle. Yeah. See, he was a… Sure, he was an angel, he’s the messenger, but it was a prophet that revealed this whole Book of Revelation to him.(...) ^*205* Watch what John seen here.*…I John saw these things, and heard them.*(...) *…And when I…heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed these things, which showed me these things.*^*207* And, “he,” then, “the angel,” see.*Then said he to me, See thou do it not:…*^*208* No true prophet would be worshipped, or messenger of any kind, see. That’s to God alone.*Then said he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them that keep the sayings of this book: worship God.*\[JBP\] And he writes there: *\[WSS\] «The Angel that revealed Revelation to John was a prophet»*. \[JBP\] And he has told us that this Angel is the one who has access to the Book of Truth; and we see Him in the time of Daniel showing him the things that are written in the Book of Truth; and there he says that it is Gabriel.It is the Archangel Gabriel, who also told the virgin Mary, and had that conversation with the virgin Mary, that she would have a son, and He would be great, and that He would inherit the throne of David; and all the things that he was talking about with Mary.And Mary represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, that in this end time…, in a message that we will perhaps read those portions in these days, which he says that \[WSS\] just as he had the conversation with Mary, that angelic conversation, he would also have it with the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, that Archangel. And when the Word of God is brought forth, It’s got to be brought by the prophet, because that’s who the Word of God comes to.\[JBP\] And he writes:*\[WSS\] «The prophet is the one who brings the Word»*.*«Rev. 7:2, 11:3-7, 14:1»*.**WHAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD SEARCHES FOR** **(Ministers Meeting)** *Dr. William Soto Santiago* *Saturday, June 22, 2002* *(Second activity)* *Austin, Texas, United States*Just as the spirit of man is the one who knows the things of man, so the Spirit of God is the only one who knows the things of God.And He also knows all things, even the depths, not only of God, but even the depths of human beings, because He discerns the thoughts and intentions of the hearts of human beings; and there is nothing concealed before God, all things are naked before God, just as they are. No matter how many fig leaves human beings try to put on the things of their lives, all that does not work, everything is uncovered before the presence of God.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] Now, he tells us, in the message **“DISCERNING THE BODY OF THE LORD”**^{**[⁹](#sdfootnote9sym)**} as well, on page 5…; what that means, he writes it on page 1, but we will read that part here which says:^*31* *But, today, we are doing things, not discerning any of the Word of God. We should have a discernment on everything that we do. It ought to be measured by the Word of God. All that Christians do and say should be measured by the Word of God.*\[JBP\] And we had already placed this writing in one of the Studies^{[¹⁰](#sdfootnote10sym)} but just so that you have it, where he writes:*\[WSS\] «Discernment = understanding, intelligence»*.*«To discern = comprehend, understand»*.*«Knowledge = science, understanding, intelligence, prudence, wisdom»*.(\[JBP\] And he writes again):*\[WSS\] «To discern = know, comprehend, see»*.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] He continues saying \[**“WHAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD SEARCHES FOR”**\]:\[WSS\] Now, we can see the Spirit of God, that discerns the thoughts and intentions of the hearts of human beings. And when we have seen throughout the Scripture the Spirit of God discerning the thoughts and intentions of the hearts of human beings, we have marveled.We see it when Elohim discerned the thoughts of Sarah’s heart. Sarah upon hearing the news given by Elohim to Abraham, that at the appointed time would come and Sarah would have Abraham’s child, Sarah being at the back, being in the tent behind Elohim, laughed in her heart (not outwardly but in her heart); that is, she thought in her heart that if after she was old she was going to have delights with her husband, who was also old, and she laughed. And God saw what Sarah thought and what Sarah did: she laughed in her heart; outwardly she did not laugh, but she laughed in her heart.And God looks at people’s hearts, and discerns the intentions and thoughts of people’s hearts; that is why God will judge human beings according to the thoughts and intentions of human beings’ hearts.\[JBP\] *“No, I do this or that, and it was for such and such a thing.”* But that is not why God is going to judge him. That is, he can deny something he did, but the intention he has in his heart is what God sees.\[WSS\] And now, we find Elohim discerning the thoughts of Sarah’s heart. That is a great miracle or a great manifestation: of the Spirit of God discerning the thoughts of people’s hearts. We find it also in the New Testament through the Lord Jesus Christ discerning the thoughts of people’s hearts.But when does God manifest Himself in a more powerful way by discerning, by using the power of discernment? When He reveals His own thoughts; when God’s own thoughts are discerned by the Spirit of God (who is the one who knows the thoughts of God, the mind of God), that is the moment when discernment reaches its peak. Because to discern the thoughts of a person’s heart, that is great; but to discern the thoughts of God’s heart, that is the greatest in discernment.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] In the message **“THE FEAST OF THE TRUMPETS,”**^{**[¹¹](#sdfootnote11sym)**} let’s see here on page 49; he says:^*300* *Notice what happened. Immediately she turned back to a lovely young woman* (\[JBP\] he is talking about Sarah)*. Showing, in there, portraying what He’s going to do to the royal Seed of Abraham, to receive the Son that’s been promised.*\[JBP\] See, that represents what He will be doing in this end time.^*\[300\]* *She turned back to a young…*^*301* *Look, they went down into Gerar. And what happened? Abimelech, the king, fell in love with her, said, “She is fair and beautiful,” and was going to marry her. Is that right? Old grandma; and all them other pretty girls down there. Granny, “She is beautiful. She is fair to look upon.” See?*^*302* *God changed her body, and turned them back. It’s a mystery that’s to be revealed now in this day, by the Son of man, see, the evening Message. See? Turned back! And that was the last sign they seen, was (what?) that discernment, before the change of the body come.*^*303* *And before we can ever receive the Son, what happens? “The trumpet of God shall sound…”*\[JBP\] And he writes there: *\[WSS\] «Discernment before the transformation comes»*. ^*303* *And before we can ever receive the Son, what happens? “The trumpet of God shall sound* (\[JBP\] he writes): *\[WSS\] «The Great Trumpet»**; the dead in Christ shall rise first, a new body* *\[WSS\] «the new body»**; and we which alive and remain shall be changed, in a moment, in a twinkle of a eye,” hallelujah, “and shall be caught up together, to meet the Lord in the air.” The secret has been made known; the Seals are open.*^*304* *The Trumpet sounded for the Israel; the two prophets is ready to appear* (\[JBP\] Who? Moses and Elijah)*. What is it? The Church must get off the scene right now, so they can appear. He can’t deal with two at the same time; He never did. See?*\[JBP\] And he writes:*\[WSS\] «The Great Trumpet = the 7th Trumpet.**Makes known the 2nd Coming of Christ»*.\[JBP\] Remember that what the Seventh Seal is for the Church, which is the Coming of the Lord, is the Seventh Trumpet for Israel, Moses and Elijah.\[*Rev. Perez*\] Our brother William continues saying \[**“WHAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD SEARCHES FOR”**\]:\[WSS\] And just as the power of discernment is manifested to discern the thoughts of people’s hearts, so is the power of the Holy Spirit manifested to discern the thoughts of God. Just as the spirit of the human being discerns his thoughts, the thoughts of the heart of people (in people you know the thoughts of their heart; see, through the spirit that you have, then you understand); but the thoughts of God, who can discern them? The Spirit of God.\[JBP\] And a little further on in this same message he says:\[WSS\] (…) And now, if Reverend William Branham says that six Seals were opened under his ministry (that is, what was in those Seals made known), and now then he says that the Seventh Seal is not yet opened, but that it will be opened later on: it is required that there be a prophet on the Earth, to whom the Holy Spirit will come and bring the revealed Word of God, to give it to the people of God; and thus make known to them the mystery of the Seventh Seal, the mystery that was in the Mind of God eternally, which neither the angels knew, nor the Son, says Jesus: “Nor the Son knoweth.”\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] And now look, in the book of ***The Seals****,* on page 482 \[p. 574 in Eng. (Seventh Seal)\] (at the bottom) he says:^*\[398\]* See, Israel gathering in its own homeland. But, you notice, He omitted the revelation of this Seventh Seal.^*399* And here, when the Seventh Seal, when He opened It, He also omitted It again, see. So we see that It is a complete mystery, therefore the hour is not yet for the mystery to be known. Therefore, we’re this far, and the rest of It will be known right around about the time that Jesus appears on earth again, for His Bride, or whatever takes place at that time. Now, until that time, let’s just all pray, live good, straight, Christian lives, looking forward for His Coming.^*400* And now if this tape would happen to fall into the hand of some persons somewhere, don’t try to make any kind of an ism out of it. The only thing you do, you just continue serving God. Because, this great secret is so great that God wouldn’t even let John write It. It thundered out, but He… knowing that, promising us that It would be opened. But, to this time, It isn’t opened.\[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «It is not open, but it will be opened»*. \[JBP\] And where will it be opened? In the fulfillment of the Tent Vision; that is where the Seventh Seal will be made known.Let us go to 481 \[p. 573 in Eng.\], since we talked about that here and we touched on this part here; he says \[***The Seals***\]^*\[392\]* …the Seventh Seal was left out. Because, you see, Christ said, “Only God Himself knowed; not even the Angels.” No wonder, It wasn’t even written.\[JBP\] See, it wasn’t even written; therefore, the fulfillment of that Seventh Seal at that stage where it would make known the Rapturing Faith to the people is not known. Therefore, they can’t say that it is not like that, because there is nothing to base it on, nor is it written.Only those who have the representation, those who have that part, which is the attribute of that Great Attribute —that is, those who came out of that Great Attribute, of that Great Theophany—, will be able to identify the Word, the Seventh Seal, the Word again in the midst of the Church revealing the mystery of the Seventh Seal. Only God’s chosen ones. The rest will not be able to see it, will not be able to understand it.And see all that we read in that part at the beginning of the message “PROVING HIS WORD,” wherein there is much, much teaching for us.Now see, he continues saying \[***The Seals***\]:^*\[392\]* No wonder, It wasn’t even written. You see, they hushed; nothing take place then. Angels don’t know It. Nobody knows when He is coming.^*393* But there’ll be a—there’ll be a—a Seven Voices, of these Thunders, that will reveal the great revelation at that time.\[JBP\] What will give the revelation? The Seven Thunders: In the Tent.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] And on 482 it says \[p. 574 in Eng.\] \[***The Seals***\]:^*\[393\]* So, I believe, to us who… If we don’t know It, and if we…It won’t be knowed till that time. But it will be revealed in that day, in the hour that it’s supposed to be revealed in. So, the thing for us to do is to be reverent before God, and serve Him, and do all that we know how to do, and live good, Christian lives. Here, now, we find that the Sixth Seal has been opened to us; we see It (\[JBP\] see, what brother William said there, that he only opened the first six Seals). And we know that this Seventh Seal cannot be broke to the public until that hour arrive.^*394* Now, there was some reason that God let this Seven Voices be thundered. Because, It must come, see. For the… We find that Christ, the Lamb, took the—the Book in His hand, and He opened that Seventh Seal. But, you see, it’s a hidden mystery. No one knows It. But, It—It, right along with what He said, “No one would know His Coming.” They also would not know about this Seven-Thunder mystery. So, you see, it’s connected together.^*395* That much, we have an understanding of It, today, because the rest of It is all unfolded; but this is not unfolded. But sitting in my room, and I heard this… or, not heard it, rather, but seen It unfold to this Seven Thunders.\[JBP\] And there he saw Moses and Elijah.And he saw something else, of which he wrote, he said: \[WBM\] “I won’t be able to tell you this. I’ll have to leave the room, I’ll have to go fishing. Lord, I can’t tell them!”Now there are things that he had to keep quiet, because… because there is another part in “THE FOURTH SEAL” that tells us something… But let us go first here to the book of **“THE SIXTH SEAL,”** it says page 376 \[p. 443 in Eng.\]:^*418* Something happened today, and I seen something come up. I—I just… I couldn’t get my breath anymore, see.\[JBP\] Remember the Light that he saw in the Tent, that rested, and He was speaking first to someone above from where he was; that is, He was already there talking to someone. Then, at a certain time, the Light descends upon the little room; but He was already talking to someone.^*\[418\]* There He was, standing there, that little Light standing right there. And here It was. I know it’s the Truth.\[JBP\] I know it too! And I know that you also know it, that this is the Truth.^*419* I thought, “O God, I couldn’t say that. I—I can’t say that. I can’t.” I just walked out of the room, went out, walked up-and-down. Brother, I thought, “My! What can I do? Oh!” See? And I—I have to go fishing, or something, or I… Boy, you’d…you… I can’t tell you. See?\[JBP\] Now, what couldn’t brother Branham say? The mystery of the Seventh Seal is there and the mystery of what he couldn’t say or speak so that no imitations would arise; and that is why that Third Pull, in that part of the fulfillment of the little room, everything that will be happening there, nobody will know.It is like those who wanted to know about Jesus, “Tell us now, and trouble not our souls”^{[¹²](#sdfootnote12sym)}; but it was rather to condemn Him, to blaspheme Him; and by blaspheming against that and mocking at that as well, and all that, it was not to believe, rather it was to condemn Him.In other words, anyone who also wants to know in order to believe, is putting himself in the same position like at the First Coming.The chosen one of God doesn’t have to see to believe. They are already believing! They are already believing what was spoken that was going to be happening in the fulfillment of the Tent Vision.And when we reach that culminating part, where we already have that high faith…; the faith that never existed in the ages; the faith that Enoch had, who walked with God and was raptured; when we reach that culminating part of the adoption, when we already have that complete faith in us, then that vindication will come, and will say: “Thank God that I believed without having to see!” “Blessed are those who believed and did not see.”^{[¹³](#sdfootnote13sym)}\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] Our brother William continues to say here \[**“WHAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD SEARCHES FOR”**\]:\[WSS\] Now, we can see the importance of the Holy Spirit, who is the one who knows the Mind of God, with the thoughts contained in the Mind of God.And now, the Holy Spirit that knows the thoughts of the Mind of God, is the one that has been in His Church from age to age manifested in the messengers of every age, as He was manifested in the apostles, as He was manifested in Jesus, and as He was manifested in the prophets of the Old Testament.For this end time the things that were not yet revealed have to be revealed to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; for which the Holy Spirit who knows the thoughts of God has to reveal those thoughts to the Church of Jesus Christ, for which He will have to have a prophet on Earth, to whom the Holy Spirit comes revealing those divine thoughts, revealing the Word of God relevant to this end time. Because all revelation has to come to a prophet.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] See, on page 19 of the message **“AS I WAS WITH MOSES, SO I WILL BE WITH THEE,”**^{**[¹⁴](#sdfootnote14sym)**} he says:^*\[112\]* *Now, by spiritual discernment, Joshua, the new leader, by spiritual discernment, placed each one where he belonged, divided the land just exactly* (\[JBP\] and he writes): *\[WSS\] «Joshua»**.*^*113* *A very beautiful type today, of what we need a Joshua for, today* (\[JBP\] and he writes again): *\[WSS\] «Joshua»**. The trouble today, when we are come into our promised Land, Gad wants to raise sheep like Ephraim, one wants to raise something like the other. Every man wants to be the same. Let God give one man a gift of healing, every man wants a gift of healing.*\[JBP\] Like when they say…, and that is fine, because he has also spoken certain things with people. But see how they try to do the same, when they say: *“He also told me such a thing. So he said to me as well, what he told me, it has to be like that.”* Or: *“He told me this,”* or *“he told me that,”* putting themselves in the position of a prophet.And you have to be careful… If you don’t have a ministry, then you better be silent, because that is very, very dangerous. And if she’s a woman, even worse.In other words, the things that God was bringing through that powerful Archangel, that talk that He had with the Church-Bride in this end time, and what He was bringing at the end for that dispensational interlace; all of that is passed on (like the Scepter) to another prophet.Someone can’t come saying that “he has also told him such a thing” and placing himself too, in order to pass himself off as having also received from God.In ***The Ages***, **page 169** \[**p. 156 in Eng.**\]**, paragraphs 170-171**, he tells us, where he says that Paul warned them… That is, that same rule is in every age and in every dispensation.And only that instrument that God would be using later for that new stage, that new age and that new dispensation, is the one that will have the discernment of the things that would be happening in that Third Pull, of the Tent Vision, the fulfillment of the Third Pull.It is just ONE; because God always works with one, not with many. Therefore, the person enters (without realizing it) to be an impersonator.*“No, he also told me.” “No, he also…”* And he doesn’t realize that he is also fulfilling those Scriptures that there must be at this time, where impersonators would also arise, which wasn’t spoken openly so that this wouldn’t happen.But notice, as God is showing and working in the midst of His Church: you look, and you see how the spirit of the devil enters into people and begins to imitate; because he doesn’t know the Mind of God, the enemy doesn’t know the thought of God.But when he sees Him working…; like when he says, \[WMB\] “I, as long as I have it in my heart and I say nothing, that is God with me; but when I speak something and I say it, I can see how the devil goes ahead and hinders me.” That is in… Let’s read it quickly. In the book of ***The Seals***, on page 467 \[p. 556 in Eng. (Seventh Seal)\], it says:^*\[257\]* If Satan could get a hold of It…^*258* If you want something to happen… Now you’ll have to take my word for this. If I’m planning on doing something, I know better than to tell anybody about it. Not that that person would tell it, but Satan will hear it. See? He can’t get it, in my heart there, as long as God has got it closed up with the Holy Spirit, so that’s between me and God. See? He don’t know nothing about it until you speak it, then he hears it. And I have tried… I tell people I’ll do a certain-certain thing, and watch the devil cut off every wheel he can, to get there, see, to beat me to it.\[JBP\] And that is how they begin to look and they begin to imitate, and they begin to divert the attention of the people, and they begin to lead many away. When he should —that minister— put his sight and the people on what God has promised. What that Archangel has told us the people to do: look to the fulfillment of the Tent Vision. To put, focus and sharpen “all the cannons” towards the Tent.He was telling us to even put good screens, good antennas, good sound.And many are doing the opposite. They are disobedient!See, and it will not go so well to the disobedient.It was promised and spoken that it is on an island; it was promised and spoken that it was in a Tent; it was promised and spoken that it was the ministries of Moses and Elijah; it was promised and spoken and prophesied that the Thunders, the Trumpets, the Vials were going to be spoken; that the Rapturing Faith was going to be given in that place! Not in other places.So the focus has to be put and placed on the Tent.Everybody who is doing the opposite: he is going to give an account to God for himself and for the group that God gave him. And then, the group…; he will also have to face the group, because they will say, “Look where you brought us to.”But also the chosen one, who knows and is aware of the promises, will not be looking at that leader. That is why the moment you place a person or a minister as your leader, that day you die.\[WMB\] “They cannot change (\[JBP\] says brother Branham), they cannot place a person as their leader and remove the Holy Spirit through the instrument that He is using in this end time.”^{[¹⁵](#sdfootnote15sym)}That is how it has been in every age and in every dispensation: once they place a person as their leader, other than the messenger of that age: there they die. You can’t place a person as your leader and cast aside the Holy Spirit.\[***The Seals***\]^*\[258\]* But if I get the revelation from God, and just don’t say nothing about it, then it’s different.^*259* Remember, Satan will try to impersonate. He’ll try to impersonate everything that the Church will do. He’s tried to do it. We notice it, through the antichrist (\[JBP\] that is, in the seven ages).^*260* But this is one thing he cannot impersonate. There’ll be no mimics to this…\[JBP\] Yes, there will be many impersonators trying to imitate. Once the way God is doing it will be fulfilled, they will be imitating certain things; but they will fail in one. In other words, they will be able to imitate certain things, but what God will be doing in terms of bringing the Rapturing Faith to the elect: they will not be able to, because they do not have the ministries; and they are not the instrument of God to bring to the people that Rapturing Faith. And they will not be able to imitate the little room either. They will never know.^*\[260\]* …see, ’cause he don’t know It. There’s no way for him to know It. It’s the Third Pull. He just knows nothing about It. See? He doesn’t understand It.\[JBP\] Now see how the elect, we read that *\[WSS\] «to discern is to understand, comprehend»*; they will; they will comprehend, understand; and they will see the Word, they will see the Word.^*261* But there’s a secret lays beneath That! \[Brother Branham knocks on the pulpit once—Ed.\] Glory to God in the Highest! I can never think the same, the rest of my life, when I seen.\[JBP\] What was it that we read in three hundred…? That is, what he saw, after that he couldn’t think… After seeing what he saw, he says: \[WMB\] “I will not be able to think the same way after seeing”; in other words, he did see.^*\[261\]* …when I seen. Now, I don’t know what… I know the next step there, but I don’t know what, how to interpret that. It won’t be long.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] Which is the one in *The Ages*? **Page 169** \[p. 156 in Eng.\] of the book of ***The Ages*** edited:In every age we have exactly the same pattern. That is why the light comes through some God-given messenger in a certain area, and then from that messenger there spreads the light through the ministry of others who have been faithfully taught. But of course all those who go out don’t always learn how necessary it is to speak ONLY what the messenger has spoken. (Remember, Paul warned the people to say only what he said, I Corinthians 14:37, *“If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD.”* “What? Came the Word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?”) They add here, or take away there, and soon the message is no longer pure, and the revival dies down. How careful we must be to hear ONE voice, for the Spirit has but one voice which is the voice of God. Paul warned them to say what he said, even as Peter did likewise. He warned them that EVEN HE (PAUL) could not change one word of what he had given by revelation. Oh, how important it is to hear the voice of God by way of His messengers, and then say what has been given them to say to the churches.\[JBP\] See how the Seven Thunders, which is the Voice of God thundering consecutively, that revival will not be denominationalized. In other words, they must repeat the same thing that is being spoken in the fulfillment of the Tent Vision. Thus He speaks to us.And he draws there a Pyramid and numbers the ages from 1 to 7. And he writes at the top, in the Cornerstone: *\[WSS\] «8»*.^{[¹⁶](#sdfootnote16sym)}In other words, the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the Upper Room, the Dispensation of the Kingdom, is where that Voice of the Seven Thunders would be giving us the revelation, the mystery of His Coming, of His Second Coming. And that is exactly how they have to deliver it.They can’t come with interpretations of what our brother William meant in such and such a place or in such and such a place, when there is already a Guide: The Pillar of Fire, guiding us in this end time to take us directly to the promised land of the new body.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] See where we left off in **“AS I WAS WITH MOSES, SO I WILL BE WITH THEE,”** he says \[P. 17\]:^*\[113\]* *Every man wants to be the same. Let God give one man a gift of healing, every man wants a gift of healing. Ephraim and Gad, and all of them wants to mix, all of them come with one. But we are divided, in our position. All don’t have the gift of wisdom. All don’t prophesy. All don’t speak with tongue. All are not prophets. “But God has set in the Church, some that prophesy, some that speak with tongues.” We want to make them all speaking in tongues. See how the confusion is? Then you can’t get nowhere. Well, the Philistines would take them over, in a little bit. Sure. But when each man, by a leader, separated them by spiritual discernment and placed them into the body* (\[JBP\] and in this time it is in the Age of the Cornerstone)*, there they remained and become the cream of the earth.*^*114* *God, give us a Joshua. God, give us back a Joshua that will hold the commission with the Word.*^*115**That’s the way God told him. “This Book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, for thou shall meditate therein day and night,” for he had a commission before him.*^*116**Now, what a great leader Joshua became, never losing a battle ’less something went wrong in the church. When Achan took a wedge, it wasn’t Joshua’s shape, faith that did it. It was, he took a Babylonian garment and a wedge of gold, out of the camp. And when he did, it—it hindered the whole battle.*^*117**One member suffers; all members suffers. What God is coming to, one of these days, brother, is a Church without spot or wrinkle. He’s coming to a Spirit-filled Church, that Divinely Love of God so welded their hearts together, that they’ll walk as one.*\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] Our brother William continues saying here \[**“WHAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD SEARCHES FOR”**\]:\[WSS\] And now, how would you prefer to see the Holy Spirit: searching, discerning, the thoughts of the mind and heart of people, or of the Mind and heart of God?Which is greater: discerning the thoughts of a person’s heart, or discerning the thoughts of God’s heart? It is greater to discern the thoughts of the heart of God, of the Mind of God.Therefore, when the Holy Spirit is discerning the thoughts of people’s hearts, that is a great thing, it is a Work of the Holy Spirit; but when He is discerning the thoughts of God’s heart, that is greater; because God is greater, and God’s thoughts are higher and greater than the thoughts of men.\[JBP\] Now, that part of discerning was in brother Branham in that Second Pull; and he says that that is going to end for something greater to enter, that is, the Third Pull.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] And on page 28 of the book of ***Quotations***^{***[¹⁷](#sdfootnote17sym)***}, on page 239, says: *239 - “*^*69* *My ministry, of this discernment and so forth, it’ll soon end now. Oh, it’ll always be there. But it’ll soon end this, ’cause it’s going to something greater.”*\[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «The discernment will end».**«God is going to do something greater = He will speak to creation»*. \[JBP\] Look at what comes after discernment. The same thing that he said there in “THE FEAST OF THE TRUMPETS,” that he said that after discernment, when he said that Sarah laughed, what came next? Transformation! by creative Word, spoken Word. *239 - “*^*\[69\]**See? It’s going on up…”*\[JBP\] And there is that he writes: *\[WSS\] «1, 2, 3»* (because we had read that).^{[¹⁸](#sdfootnote18sym)} *239 - “*^*\[69\]**It’s going on up…”*\[JBP\] And he writes there: *\[WSS\] «1, 2, 3»* (First Pull, Second Pull, Third Pull). *239 - “*^*\[69\]* *…from* *«1»* *taking a hold of the hand,* *«2»* *up to the discernment, and now she’s \[...\]* ^*\[72\]* *Remember,* *«3»* *I’m speaking this* (\[JBP\] See? Speaking)*. The discernment will soon be to the end. «3» There’ll be something so much greater and so much better, just in the way.”*\[JBP\] And he draws a Star of David.And he writes: *\[WSS\] «3rd Pull»*. And he draws the ages and the Pyramid, and three arrows. And he places two in the part of the ages (one and two); and the third enters from the neck (he puts it there) to the Cornerstone (in that interlace that there is).\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] Now, you can see that in 1-B it also tells us there… Because see that he had said that he put… Let’s read it for a moment. Page 26, paragraph 216, he says \[***Quotations***\]:^{[¹⁹](#sdfootnote19sym)} *216 – “*^*\[4\]* *…that has been promised would come into existence in the tabernacle here, before we hit the tent. Well, now, as far as I know, there was nothing no more than just…Just soon as I went in there, the Spirit of the Lord came in, and It just started discerning the spirits, and telling the people of their troubles and so forth. \[...\]*^*9* *And today, in the interviews, the Holy Spirit was wonderful, today. And it seem like that maybe it’s just going to continue on for a while, until that tent comes in…”*\[JBP\] See that it is in the Tent where that Third Pull will take place. After discernment comes what?, would come what? The spoken Word, the creative Word: Mark 11:23.And there is a great mystery there, and there is a great blessing in that Scripture, which is being fulfilled; and it will be fully fulfilled when the kingdoms of this world, which is a mountain (a mountain is a kingdom), will be taken away and the Kingdom of the Messiah-Prince will be established. *216 - “…until that tent comes in, up under the same ministry that I’ve had* (\[JBP\] the ministry of Elijah in its fifth manifestation)*. Because, in the interviews today, there were four great outstanding visions took place, in the interviews. So, seemingly, maybe, I will continue on until that maybe the tent starts, or wherever it is He has chosen to begin to declare His Name in a new way. But when It does, it’ll be just as perfect as the others. It’ll be just* (\[JBP\] that is, like the other two: First and Second Pull)*…* *And I’m trusting to God that it will be greater than the others. Not because of—of our ministry, but because of the sick and needy people. There’s such a need in the land today!”*\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] Now, on page 1-B he says, in paragraph 10 \[***Quotations***\]:^{[²⁰](#sdfootnote20sym)} *10 - “*^*\[40\]**Remember me telling you that it’d come a time where the people secrets of their heart would be known? Is the… That’s what the Lord has done. That’s what He’s done now. And hear me. Listen w—word of God, it’s still in its infancy. Can you bear me record of that? It’s in its infancy* (\[JBP\] and he writes): *\[WSS\] «infancy»**. If I can only keep humble before God and God will let me live, I believe the hour’s coming.**Feels like I’m in a little tributary here out to a great ocean out yonder. Someday, He’s going to let me cross that last mark down there, out into that tribut—not the tributary, but out into the main lands, main waters, bodies of water* (\[JBP\] and he draws a Pyramid)*, then **great things** will be done just at the end before the tribulation.”*\[JBP\] And he draws a Star of David.And he writes:*\[WSS\] «1. The sign in the hand = the First Pull**2. The discernment = the 2nd Pull**3. The spoken Word = the 3rd Pull»*.\[JBP\] That is greater than discernment.And he also writes: *\[WSS\] «Before the great tribulation, great things…»*. \[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] Page 35, paragraph 293, says \[***Quotations***\]:^{[²¹](#sdfootnote21sym)} *293 - “*^*37* *Many of the meeting, from my new ministry coming in. A brother, Baptist brother standing here, his daughter, teen-age, had been kind of a little wayward. And told him, ‘I give you your daughter for the Lord Jesus,’ the other morning. And when he went home, she is saved. And the other one here this morning, to be baptized and going on.*^*38* *And a man, Mr. Sothmann, a friend of mine from Canada, his mother-in-law in a dying condition, said, ‘You find your mother-in-law when you get there, well, on her road to recovery, all right.’ That’s just the way it was. And just… people just coming in. It’s just in its infancy now, moving. But, oh, we’re expecting the exceedingly, abundantly above all. We’re in the evil and last days, but in a glorious hour.”*\[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «The infancy of the new ministry»*. And he also writes: *\[WSS\] «By a prophet: **3rd Pull = speak the Word»*. \[JBP\] In other words it will be through the spoken Word that this other stage that he says, after discernment, will come to the Church. The same thing that happened with Abraham and Sarah.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] Is there another one? Let’s see on page 4-A. Quote? 33, he says \[***Quotations***\]:^{[²²](#sdfootnote22sym)} *33 - “*^*\[60\]**‘Said ‘Let’s see you break the bread then and feed the five thousand, and let me see you turn the water into wine.’**I said, ‘We are in our infancy. We are moving up. And quick as we get you bunch of formal fanatics out of the way, we’ll be doing that…’*\[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «The miracles in a progressive form»*. *33 - “\[...\] ‘If we can get you bunch of unbelievers out of the way long enough to get God moving through the crowd, you’ll see such things take place.”*\[JBP\] We read it a moment ago from another message, that He took out of the house of Jairus (or the place where they were), He took out those heaps of unbelievers; because unbelievers will never see the Glory of God. Therefore, He called only believers to see the glory of God being manifested there.As He said there to Martha, “Did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God?”^{[²³](#sdfootnote23sym)} And she saw it, and Mary also saw it, and those who were there. Believers. But unbelievers are cast out.God doesn’t put on a show for unbelievers. In other words, he is not going to be pleasing their ego. He doesn’t do it with the elect, is He going to do it with them?!Because the elect don’t need signs and wonders. What they need is the Word, what they need is the Title Deed, which is what makes them heirs, joint-heirs of the whole planet: the inheritance that Adam lost.In other words, they are alert and they need, and they want and desire that soon they will have the Rapturing Faith; because with the Rapturing Faith comes the adoption, comes that glorious manifestation.“Did I not say, ‘I said, You are Gods’?”^{[²⁴](#sdfootnote24sym)} In other words, what they desire is that the Scriptures be fulfilled in them and that they be adopted children of God.They don’t need miracles, nor do they need evidence to see: *“Let’s see if it is true that the Pillar of Fire is speaking to him there.”* They are already seeing it by the Word.Therefore, the unbelievers will not be pleased; because even if so, they will not believe anyway; they will say as he said – as they said to Jesus: “By the finger of Beelzebub he is doing that.” *33 - “*^*\[60\]**‘If we can get you bunch of unbelievers out of the way long enough to get God moving through the crowd, you’ll see such things take place. We’re just moving up. Look at the miracles that Jesus started the same way, moved right on up finally to the resurrection of the dead.’”*\[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «Resurrection and the Tent»*. \[JBP\] Let’s stand up; because if we continue, all these Scriptures that we all need will continue to appear. But God, see how in a simple way He is bringing them to us in the fulfillment of what He already said was going to be in the midst of the Church in this Cornerstone stage.For the elect what is taking place is not a surprise; the Word being quickened is for the elect, being fulfilled.It is, for them, what they have been waiting for, what they are yearning for. In other words, what you are yearning for and asking for!: To obtain —through this Teaching under the Tent— the Rapturing Faith, the Faith of Translation; because we want to go from here to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, that Supper is already prepared for us. It has been a privilege for me to be able to speak in this Bible Study on: **“DISCERNING GOD’S THOUGHT AT THE LAST DAY.”**Which is the topic we will be seeing and listening to on this occasion by our beloved brother and friend, Dr. William Soto Santiago.\* \* \*
