Jose B. Perez*\] And there our brother William used the Scripture of the Gospel according to **Matthew**, **chapter 13**, **verse 16**, where it tells us:^*16* \_But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.\_ ^*17* \_For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.\_ ^*18* \_Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.\_ ^*19* \_When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not\_ *\[WSS\] «the Gospel of Christ»*\_, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.\_ \[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] And in this other Bible, here, to place this writing there…, in that same **chapter 13**, **verse 11**, which says \[**Matthew**\]:^*11* \_He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.\_ \[JBP\] And there he writes: *\[WSS\] «The Kingdom of the Heavens or the Kingdom of God = is the Church»*.\[JBP\] And there to have that foundation there to continue reading here. It says \[**Matthew 13**\]:^*19* \_When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not\_ (\[JBP\] and he writes): *\[WSS\] «the Gospel of Christ»*\_, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.\_ ^*20* \_But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;\_ ^*21* \_Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.\_ \[JBP\] And there he writes: *\[WSS\] «He is a coward»*.^*22* \_He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.\_ ^*23* \_But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.\_ \[JBP\] And he draws a Pyramid and the ages, and there he writes: *\[WSS\] «100 x 1 / 60 x 1 / 30 x 1»*.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] In the message **“GOD’S ONLY PROVIDED PLACE OF WORSHIP,”**^{**[¹](#sdfootnote1sym)**} preached on November 28, ‘65, let’s go here for a moment. On page 7 of this message it says:^*43* *Great Author of this Book, “It is a Seed,” we are taught, “that a sower sowed,” so said the Author. Now, we do realize that a seed will grow if it’s in the right kind of ground. So, Father, will You this morning take all the briers and thistles, and unbelief, and skeptic thoughts out of our hearts; that the Word of God might grow freely, watered by the Spirit in our hearts, that we might become the people of God.*\[JBP\] And there he writes: *\[WSS\] «The right ground»*.**THE FRUIT OF THE GOOD GROUND** *Dr. William Soto Santiago Tuesday, November 14, 2000 Olavarria, Buenos Aires, Argentina*The good ground is, in types and figures, the souls of the children of God; it is also the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and it is also each age of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ while it is in effect (\[JBP\] while it is in effect, that is the ground).And it is also the territory where each age is fulfilled; that is the good ground as territory in each age. And as Message, it is the Message pertaining to each age.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] In the message **“WORKS IS FAITH EXPRESSED,”**^{**[²](#sdfootnote2sym)**} on page 31, there it tells us:^*200* *Like this man over here, that believed that God would give him the baby. Sure, he believed it was going to happen, made ready for it. “I’m making ready.” Although no physical results seen as yet, but that didn’t make a bit of difference. He believed it, like Abraham, “called anything contrary as though it was not so.” There!*^*201* *Therefore, if your intellectuals does tell you… Oh, here’s the stinger now. If your intellectuals does tell you that “This is the Truth, God is the Healer of sickness,” your mind can witness that “That is the Truth,” but if there is not the bedding ground in your heart (faith, to fall in) to express it, it will not happen.*\[JBP\] And there he writes: *\[WSS\] «Good ground»*.And on the other side he writes: *\[WSS\] «The baby»*.And he also writes: *\[WSS\] «The intellect and the faith»*.^*\[201\]* *…your mind can witness that “That is the Truth,” but if there is not the bedding ground in your heart (faith, to fall in) to express it, it will not happen* (\[JBP\] if there is no fertile ground, it will not happen)*. No much… no matter how much this outside man can reason it with the Scriptures, and say, “it’s right,” that still doesn’t make it right.*\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] He continues saying here in the message that we are reading \[**“THE FRUIT OF THE GOOD GROUND”**\]:\[WSS\] But let’s see, the good ground if it is going to produce fruit, well, a seed has to be sown: The good seed as souls of the children of God; and then they become the children of God. And it is also the Word; because in the parable of the sower, the good seed is the Word, and the Sower is the Son of Man.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] And also in that message that we read of **“GOD’S ONLY PROVIDED PLACE OF WORSHIP,”** but on page 15, it says \[Page 13\]:^*88* *If I taught you a Methodist message, it would take no effect on you, this is Bride time. If Moses taught the message of Noah, it would take no effect. If Jesus taught Moses’ message, it would take no effect. Because the predestinated seed are laying there that will only be watered by that type of water that’s give for that seed. See? It won’t grow any other conditions. It must be the conditions that grows it.*\[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «the condition»*.^*89* *Now, you can take a chicken egg and put it in a incubator, which should be under a hen, but it’ll hatch anyhow. Put it under a pup it would hatch. It’s the warmness, the condition that makes it hatch. So it has to be under condition. You could take a good live egg and put it under a dead hen, it won’t hatch. See? See, it’s the condition.*^*90* *Well, that’s the way it is in this age that we’re living in, you’ve got to find what is God’s way* *\[WSS\] «condition»* *of doing it for this age. That’s what Martin Luther found, that’s what John Wesley found, that’s what the Pentecostals found in their age. God’s age and time to do it.*\[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «The age and time»*.\[JBP\] Because it has to be (as we read) in the corresponding age, the age in effect, so that it may produce in the ground —which we saw is the Church—, that fruit.**CHRIST OPENING THE UNDERSTANDING TO HIS DISCIPLES** *Dr. William Soto Santiago Sunday, February 2, 2003 Cayey, Puerto Rico*And now, what difference is there between the good ground and the other grounds?, for all hear the Word, because the Gospel was commanded to be preached to every creature.The difference there is, is that although all hear the preaching of the Word, the good ground is he who hears and understands the Word.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] In the message **“THE UNVEILING OF GOD,”**^{**[³](#sdfootnote3sym)**} it tells us, on page 44… It says, page 44:^*258* *The Bible said, “I’ll put enmity between her Seed and the serpent’s seed.” See? See there?*^*259*\_ It, the—the veil, has been lifted off of the Word. See? That’s right. It’s revealed to babes. It’s—it’s lifted. They see It.\_ (\[JBP\] In other words, the veil has been lifted: They see It). *And will be, as once said… That’s right. Then it will be, as once said, “When you see,” when this veil is took off of the Word, the traditions is taken off the Word, as Jesus once said, “When you see Me, you see the Father.” See? God and His Word is one. Now you understand? When the Word is manifested, what is It? See?*^*260* *Jesus said, “Search the Scriptures, you think you have E-… You’ve believed in God, believe also in Me. If I do not the works of My Father, then don’t believe Me. But if I do do the works, I and My Father are One. When you see Me, you have seen the Father.”*^*261* *And when you see the Word made manifest, you see the Father God, because the Word is the Father. The Word is God. And the Word, made manifest, is God Himself taking His Own Word and manifesting It among believers. Nothing can make It live but believers, just believers. It’s not… It won’t…*\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] Now look, in **Exodus**, in **chapter 19**, **verse 4**, it says:^*4* \_Ye have seen what I did unto the\_ \_Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.\_ ^*5* \_Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:\_ ^*6* \_And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.\_ \[JBP\] And we turn to **verse 9** of that same **chapter 19** \[**Exodus**\]:\_9 And the Lord said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the Lord.\_ \[JBP\] And there he, it has a small paper glued to that part there, where he wrote:*\[WSS\] «The old bridegroom \[the veil\] is the denomination»*.*«The new Bridegroom \[the veil\] is Christ»*.*«The Bridegroom is the veil»*.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] And in one of the **Psalms** it speaks of that; right in chapter 19 of the Psalms. In **verse 4** of **chapter 19**, it says:^*4* \_Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,\_ ^*5* \_Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.\_ \[JBP\] Notice there the Bridegroom represented in the sun, where the wheat is being ripened in this Dispensation of the Kingdom; which is the Bridegroom (which there he writes), that is, the veil: *\[WSS\] «The new Bridegroom is Christ»*, in other words, the veil.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] He continues saying here on page 44 (to then turn to 45), of **“THE UNVEILING OF GOD”** \[Page 38\]:^*262* *You can take wheat and plant it in a—in a—a different kind of a soil, it’ll never grow. But, what, it’s got to have certain fertilize in the ground to raise wheat. And if there is no—if there… if the fertilize in the ground isn’t—isn’t, the wheat isn’t germitized to that fertilize, it’ll never grow. So no matter where the Word falls, if It doesn’t fall in the right kind of a heart…*^*263* *Jesus said so. “Some fell by the wayside, on stony grounds, and the fowls of the air come and fed on it.” And then He said, “Some fell in the thorns and thistles, which raised up and choked out right away,” traditions, denominations, cares of the world choked It. But said, “Some went over into good ground and brought forth a hundredfold,” said, “that’s the Kingdom of God.”*\[JBP\] And we read there: *\[WSS\] «…the Kingdom of God = is the Church»*.And he writes: *\[WSS\] «100x1 is the Kingdom of God»*.\[JBP\] And you remember that we read a writing^{[⁴](#sdfootnote4sym)} that brother William wrote what is a hundredfold: which are the elect, the wise ones; thirtyfold, and he also wrote what what sixtyfold are:*\[(WSS) «The chosen ones \[gentiles\]: 100x1**The Hebrew elect: 60x1**\[the 144,000 Hebrews, Rev. 7:2-5, 14:1\]**The rest of the children of God: 30x1, of the gentiles and the Hebrews»\]*.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] He continues saying \[**“THE UNVEILING OF GOD”**\]:^*\[263\]* *It’s the same thing, see, some will not believe at all.*^*264* *Some will believe for a little while, like the disciples. They followed Him, many of them, the seventy followed Him for years, to find out; about a year and a half, or two years; just to find out, till they could find something in Him…*\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] Look, search in Genesis, chapter 3, because he writes in a study there referring to that Scripture… It says **Genesis 3**, **verse 8**:^*8* \_And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day\_ *\[WSS\] «afternoon»*\_: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.\_ \[JBP\] “In the cool of the day,” he writes: *\[WSS\] «afternoon»*, that is it was in the afternoon.^*8* \_…hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.\_ ^*9* \_And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?\_ ^*10* \_And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.\_ ^*11* \_And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?\_ ^*12* \_And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.\_ \[JBP\] And look, there he writes, in one of the studies he writes: *\[WSS\] «The person who leaves God…»*. Because remember, there, at that moment, Adam was therefore leaving God. And look at what he writes:*\[WSS\] «The person who leaves God is always going to find himself hearing a woman’s voice»*.\[JBP\] So it also happened with Ahab: he departed… Notice, there he didn’t do what… (let’s say) he didn’t do anything to Naboth (we had read that)^{[⁵](#sdfootnote5sym)}, and he didn’t want to eat or anything; but notice that there Jezebel entered the scene. She did everything she did, and then she told him: “Well Ahab, go and take now - everything is ready for you to take Naboth’s vineyard.”^{[⁶](#sdfootnote6sym)} And he went and did it. See? He heard his wife’s voice.So is the church represented in Rome. See how they also depart from God and listen to the church —represented in the Roman Catholic church— and all that teaching that they have that is against the Divine Teaching. And so it is, you see, in all spheres represented in the woman.And there are also men that also depart from God or turn away from the Program that God is carrying out; and most of the time: they are always inclined to listen to their wife.There is a part that he says —brother Branham— that they are…; even though they are not physically doing it, or effeminate way, but he says that \[WMB\] “they are sissified”; because they allow themselves to be ruled by a woman.^{[⁷](#sdfootnote7sym)}And we have already seen there (like he says) that: \[WSS\] «the man who departs from God, ends up listening to the voice of a woman».\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] He goes on to say… Let’s repeat it \[**“THE UNVEILING OF GOD”**\] \[P. 38\]:^*264* *Some will believe for a little while, like the disciples. They followed Him, many of them, the seventy followed Him for years, to find out; about a year and a half, or two years; just to find out, till they could find something in Him, some like some way He had some power to do these things, or like a rabbit foot, a magician of some sort, what He could do to produce these things, how He could know what was in the people’s heart and what they were thinking. And they finally found out that He said that He “come down from Heaven,” He “was the Word Himself.” And when they did that, that was too much for them. They said, “No man can understand This.” And they walked away from Him. That’s those who fell among thorns.*\[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «The make-believers»*.And he writes: *\[WSS\] «2 years»*.^*265* *It brings back to the same thing, in every congregation, you have make-believers, unbelievers, and believers. It’s been in every congregation. You find them all the time. Some of them make out like they’re believers, that’s the worst of type. And then they have those who are actually unbelievers; he won’t bother you, he’ll just walk away and shake his head. But those who make-believe, say they’re believers, that’s the kind, that’s the kind you have to watch, is those make-believers. And then there is some genuine believers. See them three there?*^*266* *There was the unbelievers. As soon as He said, “Eat the Flesh of the Son of man,” oh, man, that was it!*\[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «Son of Man»*.^*267* *The others was make-believers. They stayed till, just like Judas did, right up to the end.*\[JBP\] In other words, they will continue until the end. Those are the bothersome ones, the ones who always have to look for something to criticize.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] That… See, in ***The Seals*** he speaks in one place that the human being is made… he says: \[WMB\] “The human being is made to criticize,” he says something like that (I was seeing it because he wrote it). Let’s turn to 324. Yes, this is it. Because it is one of the questions that they asked him. Let’s see, on 323 at the bottom, it says \[Page 381 in Eng.\]:^*\[424\]* There’s been hundreds of them, of course. \[...\]^*428* But this minister said, “Brother Branham, your vision sounded very Scriptural and all right until you talked about a horse being there.” Said, “A horse in Heaven?” Said…Now see that ecclesiastical man, wisdom, mind? See? He said, “Heaven was made for human beings, not horses.”^*429* Well, I sit down. Billy, my son here, put the letter right here in the old church office, about three or four months ago (\[JBP\] In other words, to answer the letter).^*430* I said, “My precious brother, I’m surprised at your wisdom (\[JBP\] \[laughs\] see how he writes to him there), but, and your knowing of the Scripture.\[JBP\] It is like… And notice something: being in the… here, you can see that now is the time where the “human being has to have an open mind”; you have to be… (how do they say? there is a word that is used a lot by the…), like one cannot limit oneself to…, one has to have an open mind to the things that are happening with… all things; but however, for the things of God they cannot see, and there is a certain limit to the wisdom (as he is writing it there); and they cannot have —as you have it for the earthly things—, that one has to be… There is a word, I’m there trying to remember, uh… well.And for the things of God: they cannot see things from the different angles, and have that wisdom at those high levels to be able to understand and comprehend that the Scriptures (there it comes in): they have multiple fulfillments, they have multiple revelations. And there they don’t get stuck in that: “No, this has to be this way.” See? They don’t have that… like they have in earthly things.^*\[430\]* “…I’m surprised at your wisdom, but, and your knowing of the Scripture. I did not say that I was in Heaven. I said it was in a place like paradise, because Christ was still above, see. But,” I said, “if it might satisfy you, you turn over to Revelation 19. And when Jesus comes out of the heavens of Heaven, He is riding on a white horse, and all the saints with Him are riding on horses.” Right. Absolutely. Yes, indeed.^*431* And up in that same Place, there was one looked like an eagle, and one looked like an ox, and one…Well, my, where is them horses that come got Elijah? Just goes to show, you see, the human mind just wants something to pick on.\[JBP\] They are always looking for something to criticize; and those are the make-believers, the manufactured believer.And there he writes: *\[WSS\] «The human mind is looking for something to criticize»*.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] He continues saying \[**“THE UNVEILING OF GOD”**\] \[Page 39\]:^*\[266\]* *…oh, man, that was it!*^*267* *The others was make-believers. They stayed till, just like Judas did, right up to the end.*^*268* *But then the real believers, they couldn’t explain It, but they believed It, anyhow. They went on through.*^*269* *The veil…* (\[JBP\] and there he places three ellipses).\[JBP\] See there in Exodus the veil, how he there… Join that together with this Scripture, because the whole Scripture of that chapter is very important. Notice:^*\[268\]* *…they couldn’t explain It, but they believed It, anyhow. They went on through.*^*269* *The veil…*\[JBP\] Now, remember they will not be able to say to him: “Well, you said *such* a thing. That is there, and you said it’s going to be fulfilled like *this* and like *this* and like *this*; that is why we didn’t believe.”Because that is going to happen!But then, why is there a group that is believing, where this Teaching has fallen on fertile ground and has said: “I don’t understand some things, but I believe it,” and they have taken hold of this very important stage for the preparation of the chosen ones? Why are some believing that Teaching?Later, there will be no excuse to come and say: “It is because here you said *this* here, it is because here you said this *other*.” But what happened to these other ones? What happened to that good ground where that Word fell and germinated? That Fertilizer germinated when it was poured, it sprouted to Life, it ripened.So there will be no excuse.Because for God’s chosen ones: Yes they are comprehending, they are understanding, that stage in which He said that the wheat would ripen.\[**“THE UNVEILING OF GOD”**\] \[P. 39\]^*\[269\]* *…tradition of unbelievers, taken away, you see God. When the veil of traditions has been removed, you can see that God is still God of His Word. He still keeps His Word. He is the—He is the God, Author of His Word.**That is hid behind skin veils, to others. Yes, that is right. To those who cannot go behind the veil, He is still behind skin veils.*^*270* *Notice. Then, we, then we become part of Him, as you are the veil that veils Him. You are part of Him, as long as Christ is in you, as Christ was of God. Because God was in Him, made Him God. And as Christ is in you, the hope of Glory, you become part of Christ. “He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he also.” See? You become part of Christ as long as Christ is hid in you. Then it’s veiled to the unbeliever, but you know He is in you. You are temple-ing Christ that’s behind the veil, the skin. Then we, becau-… Behind, because of this veil, the veil again in human flesh, hides God (the Word) from the unbeliever.*^*271* *As it is written, see, “Written, you are written epistles,” the Bible said. Now, what is epistle? Is a “written word.” And you are the “written.” Other words, you’d read It like this, “You,” It said, “you are written epistles,” or, “you are the Word, that has been written, made manifest,” nothing can be added to It. You can’t say, “I’m a written epistle,” and living some other kind of a something but what This has already wrote, \[Brother Branham pats his Bible—Ed.\] because nothing can be added or taken away.*\[JBP\] Look a little bit further down…; because on Sunday we are going to read something, we are going to have that message of “THE MYSTERY OF REVELATION, CHAPTER 5.” And see, let’s read something here, since it is on that page at the bottom, at the…, end of this page 46 \[**“THE UNVEILING OF GOD”**\] \[P. 40\]:^*273* *Everyone has always come to me, said, “Brother Branham, them seven thunders that the voice thundered, and He said, ‘Write It not, see, but close It up,’” said, “that’ll be seven thunders that will be revealed in the last days, see, seven thunders that’ll tell us?” Now, don’t that sound real good? See? But watch what you’re talking about when you say that.**He said, “See that you write It not.” See? These seven thunders utter their voices, see, and He said, “Don’t write that, see, but It’s to be sealed up in the Book until the last days.”*\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] He goes on to say in the message **“CHRIST OPENING THE UNDERSTANDING OF HIS DISCIPLES”**:\[WSS\] Therefore, the good ground are the elect of God, the sons and daughters of God, the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ; therefore, they are those to whom Christ opens the understanding to comprehend the Scriptures…\[JBP\] See, that is why it is represented in the good ground there; which are those who in this end time would be receiving this very important stage, which is the preparation stage; and they would be comprehending, understanding everything that God is doing in the midst of the people for that preparation, which is what is going to produce the Rapturing Faith in us, the faith to be adopted, transformed.\[WSS\] …and comprehend who our beloved Lord Jesus Christ is, comprehend the mystery of the First Coming of Christ and His Work of Redemption on Calvary’s Cross, comprehend who the Son of Man is at His First Coming; and the same is for the Second Coming of Christ.\[*Rev. Perez*\] In the message:**THE FRUIT OF THE GOOD GROUND** *Dr. William Soto Santiago Tuesday, December 3, 1991 United States*And this blessing that is being poured onto the Latin American and Caribbean people, we can see that it has reached North America, the Latin Americans living in North America.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] In the book of ***Quotations***,^{[⁸](#sdfootnote8sym)} on page 12-A, it says, paragraph 115: *115 - “*^*\[280\]**And you believe that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, that I’m here to make known His works and His ways.*^*281* *I been very reluctant on these things, the fifteen, sixteen years I been on the field. But there’s an hour coming now when something is fixing to take place. The Message will go to another nation, another people. But while we are in the Presence of His Holy Being… The Church in America, I believe, is just about called out. And he writes: *\[WSS\] «The Message will go to another nation and another people»*. And he draws an arrow towards the Cornerstone.\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] He continues saying \[**“THE FRUIT OF THE GOOD GROUND”**\]:\[WSS\] That is why the Message has reached North America, but the Message has fallen in the Divine Program for Latin America and the Caribbean; but because a Latin American or Caribbean is Latin American or Caribbean, no matter where he is, because he carries in his blood Latino blood, he also carries the blessing of God for this end time; that is why the Word of the hour has come to you, to produce the fruit, the results promised by God for the end time.\[JBP\] And that is how it is for everyone, not only in Latin America and the Caribbean, but for all Latin Americans who are in different places, countries, continents; all the way there, in addition to taking and reaching the Message that the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ: William Soto Santiago has brought us, also in this end time the glorious stage of preparation for the adoption has reached them there as well.Because this Third Pull is for all the chosen ones, because we are not leaving here until all the chosen ones are prepared; and until all this Teaching has reached the last elect who is anywhere in the world; and that stage reaches him, that Teaching that is being imparted from The Great Tent Cathedral, in Puerto Rico.Let us stand up, and thus we leave in this subject **“THE MYSTERY OF THE GOOD GROUND THAT IS BLESSED,”** which is us, the chosen ones of God that in this end time we are being prepared for our adoption.We will immediately leave with us our dear brother and friend, Dr. William Soto Santiago.\* \* \*
