Jose B. Perez*\] We are thankful to our brother Miguel for those beautiful words; words that are just as he speaks them: that in this time it is the Holy Spirit that guides us through His messenger. As he was telling us, of Reverend William Branham, when he said on several occasions that the Message and the messenger is the same.\*\*Scripture: Romans 8:9-17\*\* \*\*WORDS OF ETERNAL LIFE \*\* \_Dr. William Soto Santiago \_ \_Sunday, August 25, 1985 \_ \_Maturin, Venezuela \_ And he said… God said: \_“Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him\_ (in the Angel sent by God)\_.\_ \_But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak\_ (because God would be speaking through His Angel, His Angel would be speaking through Moses)\_; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies…”\_ Imagine, every person wants someone to defend him from his enemy, every person wants to have someone he can trust, to defend him from his enemies. And it says here: \_“...I will be an enemy unto thine enemies…”\_ Many people believe that God is the friend of the whole world, but it doesn’t say so here. Here God says that He will be a friend of His friends, of those who hear His Voice, of those who keep His Word, of those who follow the Voice of the Angel of the Lord; but He says: “But I will be an enemy of your enemies,” of the enemies of those people who hear the Voice of God. God is not a friend, but an enemy. So it is better for people to know against whom they stand up to; because sometimes they stand up against whom they shouldn’t stand up against and they find that those people have a friend from another world, from another dimension, who defends those people. That is why it says: \_“The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.”\_*[1](#sdfootnote1sym)*Now, notice, it continues to say: \_“...and an adversary unto thine adversaries.\_ \_For mine Angel shall go before thee…”\_ So you can’t pass the Angel of the Lord to get ahead of Him. The people who wanted to get ahead of the Angel of the Lord, and they went ahead and said: “This is the easiest thing!: To beat that little people. Look, we don’t even need the Angel of the Lord for that.” But look, even for the most insignificant thing that is in the Divine Program to be carried out in the path to the promised land, the guidance of the Angel of the Lord is needed!; because that is why God sends him. Otherwise, God wouldn’t send His Angel; because the people would know how to do things. But He says that the people don’t know. You are going to see it here. He says: \_“For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.”\_ Here it says that He will be the one who will lead His people to the promised land, He will guide His people through His Angel; therefore, we can’t say that we don’t need the guidance of the Angel of the Lord. (...) Wherever you find those Words of eternal life being spoken, that is the messenger, that is the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ; and there then stay until you are transformed!, stay until you enter with him into the promised land!; for he is sent to take us all into the promised land. Until we all arrive, enter the promised land, he can’t leave us. And shall we leave him to look to others for words of eternal life?, or shall we say as the apostle Saint Peter said: “And to whom shall we go?” And to whom shall we go to hear the Message?, to whom shall we go to hear the Great Voice of Trumpet?, to whom shall we go to hear the Last Trumpet?, to whom shall we go to be gathered and placed as wheat in the Lord’s Storehouse? He said that Angels would be sent to the elect. You don’t have to go anywhere. The ministry of the Angels of the Lord, manifesting in the Angel Messenger of the Lord, will come to us to speak to us, to bring us words of eternal life, and to guide us to the promised land and give us the faith for transformation, the revelation for transformation and for translation. Therefore, you, when you see that happening, stay like the apostle Saint Peter: without moving, knowing that apart from the words that he will be speaking, from the Message that messenger will be speaking, there are no words of eternal life in any other person, in any other speaker that will be speaking about the things of God; because the Lord Jesus Christ says that He will send only one. And he will come with that ministry of the Two Olives, of the Two Candlesticks, with that ministry of Moses and Elijah; which will come to bring the greatest blessing that the people of God, that the elect are to receive at some time; and that is our time. \*\*THE MARCH TO THE PROMISED LAND \*\* \_Dr. William Soto Santiago \_ \_Friday, August 23, 1991 \_ \_Bogota, Colombia\_ Now, see that the earthly Israel had this march, went through this path towards the promised land, and had many difficulties; but at the end they entered the promised land. Of those who went out, only two went in; and the rest: those who were born in the wilderness. Those who didn’t enter, and went out in the exodus from Egypt, didn’t enter because they rebelled against God. Now, you see, sometimes we make similar mistakes as they did. For example, they were thirsty and hungry at times; and instead of praying to God, they rebelled against God, and they rebelled against His messenger; and they didn’t want to listen to His messenger. And they said: “It would have been better to stay in Egypt. There we had fish and onions and all those things; and they gave them to us for free.”[2](#sdfootnote2sym)And why did they give them all these things for free? Because slaves can’t be charged anything; because the people who are slaves, they work and they give them food so they can work; that is how these empires did; and then they worked for food. And they despised the blessings of the divine promises that God had made to Abraham, they despised the fulfillment of those divine promises; and they rebelled and displeased God. And that is why God said: “They shall not enter into My rest.”[3](#sdfootnote3sym) So they died in the wilderness and couldn’t pass into the promised land. So it is not just going out, it is not just being in the march; but walking in that march to the promised land without displeasing God, without whining about the way God leads His people in the march to the promised land. \*\*THE THREE EXODUSES AND THEIR PURPOSES \*\* \_Dr. William Soto Santiago \_ \_Sunday, September 22, 2002 \_ \_Cayey, Puerto Rico\_ And now, the Hebrew people is led through the desert, they receive the laws on Mount Sinai, and then they set out for the promised land by the way that God showed them in the Pillar of Fire, lighting their way by night; and by day there was a cloud that covered them from the sun. God accompanied them in the Pillar of Fire throughout the journey of the Hebrew people; the Pillar of Fire, the Pillar of Fire accompanied them to the promised land. When the prophet Moses died, God had Joshua. Now, those forty years in the wilderness were hard, but there was a purpose: it was for the people to be tested in the depths of their souls, of their hearts, so that what each person really had in his heart would come out. Because some people, when things are good, they say: “I love God, I serve God, and I follow God all the days of my life.” But when the hard times come, some people say: “I’m not going to go on.” And then they turn away from God’s way. Some even rebel against, rise up against the Program of God; which is of no benefit to those people, but is of trouble to them, because their names are erased from the Book of Life. Now, no elect of God can rise up against the Program of God; because he is a soul of God written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life, since before the foundation of the world. But you see, a multitude of people also went out with the Hebrew people; and from among those people many rose up against Moses on different occasions. When they lacked water, they rose up against Moses and said: “It would have been better to have stayed in Egypt and not gone out with you; for there is no water, there is no place to sow, there is no fruit, there is nothing.” But notice, God was leading His people (Israel) through the wilderness, on their way to the promised land; therefore, they would go through all those stages, to be the Hebrew people be tested before being adopted as a nation in the land that God promised them. In Deuteronomy, chapter 8, verse 1 and on, it narrates here why they had to go through different tests, through different stages, for forty years. Deuteronomy chapter 8, verse 1 and on says: \_“All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers.\_ \_And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.\_ \_And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.”\_ God shows here the reason why He led them through the wilderness for those forty years. And He afflicted them, He made them go through difficult stages: to know, so that it would be manifested in them, whether they would serve God or not, in good times and in bad times, difficult times. It is in the difficult times that people show if they love God; although in the good times some also turn away from God’s way. Now, the true believer, in bad times, holds more tightly to God and remains firm, faithful to God. Now, then the Hebrew people spent those forty years in the wilderness. Moses died. Miriam or Mary (Moses’ sister) had also died, and then Aaron died; and then later on, Moses died. Moses saw the promised land when he went up the mountain and God showed him the promised land. Moses asked God to allow him to enter the promised land, and God said to him: “Speak to me no more of this matter.” God had already said to him: “You shall not enter the promised land because you were rebellious.” For Moses, when he was commanded to speak to the second rock (on that second occasion) to give water to the people, instead of speaking to it, he smote the rock twice; and he broke the type and figure relevant to the Second Coming of Christ. The rock represents Christ. Therefore, the Rock, Christ, followed the Hebrew people all the days of their journey, and then entered with the Hebrew people into the promised land. And then He became flesh and dwelt among the Hebrew people 33 years, the Rock, Christ in human flesh. \*\*CHRIST WITH HIS CHURCH-BRIDE TODAY \*\* \_Dr. William Soto Santiago \_ \_Sunday, January 23, 2000 \_ \_(Second activity) \_ \_Cayey, Puerto Rico\_ And now, for the Last Day the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ will be working in the Work of Christ in the way that Christ is guiding him. Although it may seem a little strange in the way he sometimes works in the Work of Christ, Christ will be guiding him. And he will not do anything unless Christ guides him to do it that way. Therefore, the work of the Angel of Jesus Christ in the Church of Jesus Christ will be under the guidance of the Spirit of Christ. “For it is not by armies nor by might, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord,” in Zechariah, chapter 4. God’s work in His Church is by the Spirit of Christ in every age. So anyone may say: “Either it is too slow…” Others may say: “No, it is going too fast.” Others may say: “No, he is too slow in the work he is carrying out.” \[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] There is a part in the book of ***The Ages******,*** on page 188 \[pgs. 172-173 in Eng.\], Reverend William Branham says (above it says): *“Now let us stand like Joshua and Caleb. Our promised land is coming in sight even as theirs did. Now Joshua means ‘Jehovah-Saviour,’ and he represents the end-time leader that will come to the church even as Paul came as the original leader. Caleb represents those that stayed true with Joshua. Remember, God had started Israel as a virgin with His Word. But they wanted something different. So did the last-day church. Notice how God did not move Israel, or let her go into the promised land until it was His own appointed time. Now the people might have put pressure on Joshua, the leader, and said, ‘The land is ours, let’s go and take it. Joshua, you are all through, you must have lost your commission, **you don’t have the power you used to have*** (there, above ‘you don’t have,’ he writes: *\[WSS\]* «*The fifth Elijah*», and in ‘the power you used to have,’ he writes there: *\[WSS\] «The fourth Elijah»*)*.* *You used to hear from God and know the will of God, and act quickly. Something is wrong with you.’ But Joshua was a God-sent prophet and he knew the promises of God, so he waited for them. He waited for a clear-cut decision from God and when the time came to move, God placed the full leadership in Joshua’s hands because he had stayed with the Word. God could trust Joshua but not the others. So it will repeat in this end day. The same problem, the same pressures.”*\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] And he goes on to say here, in this message:But the important thing is not whether he is slow or very fast, but that he goes with Christ the Angel of the Covenant, arm in arm, working in the Work of Christ. They could say of Moses that he was very slow and didn’t know how to lead the people; because to lead the Hebrew people from Egypt to the land of Canaan, what that would take was very little time. Because look, Joseph, when he went to bury his father Jacob in the land of Israel, they went in a short time and returned. But now it takes Moses 40 years to lead the Hebrew people to the promised land. But it was the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Angel of the Covenant, with Moses. And the way the Holy Spirit guides is the best way for the Hebrew people in the Old Testament and for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in the New Testament. As they were walking through those deserts for 40 years – through the wilderness for 40 years, those who were going to enter the promised land were being born, plus some who survived of those who came out of Egypt. \[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] There is also a part here, that I want to share with you, from the message **“Why Cry? Speak!”****[4](#sdfootnote4sym)**, on page 39 of this message of Reverend William Branham, preached on July 14, 63 (it says on page 39, below): *“**\[250\]* *He was anointed for the job. He was called of God. Didn’t fence him in. No, indeedy! He took the gates with him. He didn’t pray about it. He didn’t ask God whether to do it or not. It was right in the line of duty. Amen, amen, amen! Right in the line of duty. ‘Why cry to Me? Speak, and go on!’ Amen! ‘Don’t cry. Speak!’ He done quit whining and whimpering now. Ought to be old enough to speak. That’s right. He knew his anointed gift of power could destroy any Philistine that stood before him. Amen.”*\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] Before continuing, he writes there: *\[WSS\] «Do not cry. Speak! and go forward in your work*», and brother William also writes: *\[WSS\] «Here the adoption of a child of God is being typified»* And he goes on to say: *“**251* *But we don’t know that, you see. We’re still little babies, and with a bottle in our mouth.**252* *He knew it, he knowed that God raised him up for that purpose, and there was nothing going to stand before him, all the days of his life. Nothing could destroy him. He was raised for that purpose, like Moses was. Nothing going to stop him. No Amalekites or nothing else can stop him. He’s on the road to the promised land. Samson knew he was on the road.**253* *Joshua knowed he was taking the land. He was a vindicated. God’s Word promised it, and the Holy Ghost was there vindicating it.**254* *He was on his road, so there was nothing going to stand in his way. No, sir. Right in the line of duty, with God, there was nothing going to stand in his way. So he just picked up the gates and put them on his shoulder, weighed about four or five tons, and walked up on top of the hill and sat down on them. Nothing going to stand in his way. He had an anointed gift from God. He didn’t have to cry out, ‘Lord, what must I do now?’ He was already anointed to do it. That was THUS SAITH THE LORD, ‘Get rid of them!’ Hallelujah! ‘Get rid of them! I’ve raised you up for that purpose.’ Amen.**255* *‘What must I do, Lord? Okay, what am I going to do here at the Red Sea?’**256* *‘Didn’t I tell you that I give you a mountain for a sign out here? You are coming back to that mountain, and you’re going to take these children to the land. Didn’t I call you for that purpose? What are you worried about anything else stand in the way? Speak, and start moving!’ Amen and amen! ‘Yeah, I called you for this purpose.’**257* *David, he knew he was anointed, and was a vindicated to be a good shot.”*\[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] And he continues speaking, in this message, about David. And our brother William continues here:And now, as Christ has been leading His Church to the promised land during these two thousand years, those who are to enter the promised land of the Millennial Kingdom, and those who are to enter the promised land of the glorious eternal and glorified body, have been being born in the Kingdom of God. And so, you see, what for many has been a very long period of time, hasn’t been long compared to the benefits that have been obtained in the Church of Jesus Christ: many sons and daughters of God in the Church of Jesus Christ. \*\*THE MARCH OF THE FIRSTBORN \*\* \_Dr. William Soto Santiago\_ \_Friday, June 21, 1991\_ \_Cayey, Puerto Rico\_ And seven stages or ages of the gentile Church have passed, which are also represented in the forty years of the Hebrew people in the wilderness. And already, in our time we find that we have passed all those stages of the forty years there in the seven ages of the gentile Church, and we find ourselves today under the ministry of the Holy Spirit that was typified in Joshua, who had the mission, the commission, to move the Hebrew people into the promised land. Joshua was anointed to carry out that work[5](#sdfootnote5sym); and he said:[6](#sdfootnote6sym) “When you see the priests bearing the ark, you shall arise and go after the ark; for you don’t know this way by which you are to pass into the promised land, you haven’t known it before; therefore, it is a new way for you. And on that new path you will march after the ark. You will not march each one as he wishes to march, but after the ark. They shall not each choose his own way, but the way of the ark,” because it says that the Angel would go with them, the Lord would go before them, and they would enter the promised land. \[*Rev. Jose B. Perez*\] And in the message **“The Seventy Weeks of Daniel” \[Gabriel’s Instructions to Daniel\]**, it tells us on page 24 of this book. It says:[7](#sdfootnote7sym) *“**96* *The Gabriel appears, to reveal not only what he was asking about, but to tell him all the way down what was determined for the Jewish race, all the way to the consummation. Amen! He asked a little bit, and got the whole thing. He asked just to know...**97* *Daniel was trying to find out, ‘How much longer, Lord, will it be now? Jeremiah the prophet, Your servant, my brother, has prophesied sixty-eight years ago, and said, ‘there is seventy years that this people will stay in here.’ All the old generation is practically gone now.’**98* *There is an old pentecostal generation that raised up, forty years ago. ‘Old fighters,’ they was called. They organized, and beat, and fussed, all down through Mount Horeb and Nebo, all through there. But, finally, we’re at the river now* (and there he writes: *\[WSS\] «the Jordan»*)*. He is going to raise up a new one, with a Joshua to take them over* (he writes up there: *\[WSS\] «the Holy Spirit»*)*. The law failed; Moses went with it; Moses failed. Joshua took them over* (and there I also passed to the technicians when he puts the pyramid, and he writes: *\[WSS\] «an old Pentecostal generation»*, which is the seventh age; and he writes in the eighth: *\[WSS\] «a new generation with Joshua».* And it goes on here saying). *We find out that the organizations has failed, but the Spirit of God...Joshua, the word Joshua, means ‘Jesus our Saviour.’ That, the Holy Spirit will come into the Church. Not an organization, but the Holy Spirit will get among the people and make Her ready to go up, cross Jordan. I understand by the reading of the Book that that’s what’s to take place. And God knows that’s what I’m seeking now, that I might comfort His people and tell them what’s at hand, both here this morning, and out through the lands that these tapes will go, world wide, that we’re at the end time.**99* *He revealed all the way until the Kingdom was completely restored and the Millennium set in. That was Gabriel’s message. He said, ‘I’ve come to tell you that there is seventy of years, seventy of weeks, yet, determined upon thy people, determined to the end of the Jewish generation. There is seventy of week.”* And he goes on to say here:Now, we can see that they had something to overcome in order to pass into the promised land. The Jordan was in front of them, in front of them in order for them to pass the promised land. To pass into the promised land they had to pass through the Jordan, and the Jordan at that time was overflowing; therefore, it was a dangerous passage. No one could swim across the Jordan, let alone with two million people (or more), and children and women. Therefore, crossing into the promised land had many dangers. The Jordan represents death. And by the end of time, the firstborn there (which is the Hebrew people) represent the firstborn in the midst of the gentiles, first, and then the firstborn of the Hebrew people, which are 144,000 chosen of the Hebrew people. Now, in this end time, the Jordan, which represents death, will be at this time manifesting itself to prevent the passage of the people. In Revelation, chapter 6, verse 7 and 8, it says: \_“And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.\_ \_And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell\_ (that is, Hades) \_followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.”\_ Here we have the spiritual Jordan. We have the spiritual Jordan: death, in the end time, to prevent the passage of God’s firstborn, the passage to the promised land. The firstborn of God are the elect of God from among the gentiles, who will pass into the promised land of the eternal body and into the promised land of the glorious Millennial Kingdom. Now, we in this end time are in the Age of the Cornerstone, the age of the passage to the promised land. This is the age in which we will pass into the promised land under the leadership of our Joshua, who is the Holy Spirit in His last manifestation. And we shall pass into the promised land because we shall go after the Ark, which is Christ, the Word. Christ, the Word, will go before us; and we will follow after Christ, the Word, and we will pass over into the promised land; and we will receive all the birthright blessings that are ours. \*\*WALKING WITH GOD HOLDING HIS HAND \*\* \_Dr. William Soto Santiago \_ \_Tuesday, March 23, 1999 \_ \_Jacareí, São Paulo, Brazil\_ And now, God sends His Angel to guide the people. In other words, God’s people are always guided from another dimension by the Angel of the Lord, which is God Himself in His theophanic body. That is why He said to Moses: “I am the God of your father (that is, the God of Amram, Moses’ father), and the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” And He was the Angel of the Lord. It is not that there are two gods: one, the Angel of the Lord, and the other, God. No. It is the same God manifested in His theophanic body of the sixth dimension; which is a body similar to our body, but of another dimension, of the sixth dimension. There are seven dimensions, the first are: light, time and matter; in these dimensions we exist in these mortal bodies. (...) There are people who are not interested in knowing the prophetic mysteries relevant to the day in which they live; they are people who place themselves in the position of servants, because the things of God are not made known to the servants, the things of their Lord, because servants don’t know the things of their Lord. But Jesus said: “I have called them friends.”[8](#sdfootnote8sym) Why? Because He had made known to them the things of God. And He was also going to lay down His life for them, for His friends. (...) In the meantime, we continue “WALKING WITH GOD HOLDING HIS HAND,” being guided by God and listening to His Voice. As a father leads his child by the hand, speaking to him and guiding him along the path, so God led the Hebrew people to the promised land. He told them, in order to pass over the Jordan, to follow the ark. And now, let us follow the Ark of the Word, let us follow what God says in His Word; and let us continue holding His hand, the hand of Christ, the hand of God, also listening to His Voice, and walking happily glorifying His Name, singing with joy, and thanking Him for His blessings and for all the revelation that He gives us in this end time, where He opens the prophetic Scriptures relevant to this end time. \* \* \*
