Our subject is: **THUS SAITH THE LORD TO HIS ANOINTED** **(Ministers’ Meeting)** *Dr. William Soto Santiago* *Saturday, December 17, 2005* *São Paulo, Brazil* **Scripture: Isaiah 45:1-4** \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] For this reason, let’s read the Scripture that was read to us there, in this message, by Dr. William Soto Santiago, which was preached on December 17, 2005 in São Paulo, Brazil. Today is January 26, 2025. Therefore, let’s read the Scripture of Isaiah, chapter 45, verse 1 and on, where it tells us: **Isaiah 45:1** *1 Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus…* \[JBP\] He writes there, at the top: *\[WSS\] «**Cyrus = the Sun. Rev. 11:15-19, 11:3-7, 19:11-21**»*, and several Scriptures there, we will put them in the Study later on. *1 Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;* *2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the* ***gates of brass****, and cut in sunder the* ***bars of iron****:* \[JBP\] “Gates of brass,” above there, in the Bible study, he writes: *\[WSS\] «**Greece**».* And “bars of iron” he writes: *\[WSS\] «**Rome**».* *2 … I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:* *3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord* (\[JBP\] here in the Bible study he writes): *\[WSS\] «**the Lord**»**, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.* *4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee,* \[JBP\] Here he writes: *\[WSS\] «**surname**»* (above). \[JBP\] And here in the Bible an arrow as well. And he writes: *\[WSS\] «**surname**».* *4 …though thou hast not known me.* THUS SAITH THE LORD TO HIS ANOINTED \[JBP\] On top of the subject he writes: *\[WSS\] «**The Lord**»*. **THUS SAITH THE LORD TO HIS ANOINTED** \[JBP\] To the right of the subject there, he writes: *\[WSS\] «**What is the Anointed of the Last Day?**»*. And on the side he writes: *\[WSS\] «**The Angel of Jesus**»*. Above he writes: *\[WSS\] «**Zech. 4:1-14; Rev. 11:3-7**»*. \[JBP\] Those are the Two Olive trees. And he writes: *\[WSS\] «**Elijah and Moses**»*. \[JBP\] In other words, it’s the Angel of Jesus, it’s the Holy Spirit, operating those ministries. And he writes, after the Scripture: *\[WSS\] «**King Cyrus, anointed of and by God, typifies, represents: Christ as King in His 2nd Coming to take the Kingdom**»*. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] He tells us in the book of ***The Seals***, on page 215 \[p. 246 in Eng. (Third Seal)\], let’s see in this one as well: 207 He said, “I’m not the Messiah.” He said, “I’m the voice of one crying in the wilderness.” (\[JBP\] that is John the Baptist). 208 That went as far over their head as it could go. They didn’t know nothing about it, see, and yet they was all looking for him to come. “But it couldn’t be a guy like that. Oh, my, that would be terrible!” “What school are you from?” “None.” “Have you got your fellowship card?” “What is it?” See? 209 He was anointed of God. He said, “There’s one thing I have. The axe is laid to the root of the tree (\[JBP\] there on the right he writes): *\[WSS\] «**the Anointed One**»*.” Now, that’s all he—that’s all he had. He talked in terms of a woodsman, not in the terms of a clergyman; vipers, and axes, and trees, and so forth. He—he didn’t talk in ecclesiastical terms. 210 But Jesus said there never was a prophet like him. “Never a man born of a woman, like him, till his day.” That’s right. “He was more than a prophet.” He was the messenger of the Covenant, stood right between the—the two dispensations, coming in. See? “More than a prophet.” \[JBP\] There on the left he writes: *\[WSS\] «**Between two dispensations**»*. And on the right he writes: *\[WSS\] «**The gap between the two dispensations**»*. Here he writes: *\[WSS\] «**The dispensations**»*. 211 And so then—then they didn’t know him. They didn’t understand him. He was kind of an odd-like sort of fellow, so they dismissed him, see. 212 Then when Jesus come, then, and surely wasn’t going to accept Him, this carpenter’s Boy, there wasn’t nothing like that, with a black name behind Him, of “illegitimate.” And, He, they wasn’t going to see a Fellow like that. \[JBP\] He draws on the right a Cornerstone and the ages. 213 But, but look what God did. He took the unlearned, poor, fishermen, woodsmens, farmers, and harlots, and let the dignitaries sit there. Why? What? Why did He do it? Why did He do such a thing? Could you imagine? Because that them people recognized Him to be the Word (\[JBP\] on the right, he writes): *\[WSS\] «**He was the Word**»*. Now let’s just watch them just a minute. 214 Here is an old ignorant fisherman, can’t write his name. The Bible said he was “ignorant and unlearned.” He brings his fish up and sets it down. Goes down there and sees what all this noise is about. But way down deep in him, he knew that the Bible said that the Messiah…All Hebrews looked for the Messiah, because there was to be a Scriptural thing happen when He come (\[JBP\] on the right, he writes): *\[WSS\] «**the Messiah**»*. 215 There had been a lot of messiahs, raised up and said, “I am He…” \[JBP\] Down here, he writes: *\[WSS\] «**A Scriptural thing happening = the Coming of the Messiah**»*. Here in this other one, in the red one, below, he writes: *\[WSS\] «**Many messiahs came in the days when the true Messiah came**»*. That is, many anointed ones. \[215\] … and led them off, by the hundreds, and—and perished and everything. But, see, that was to throw off the real One when It comes. \[JBP\] Here in this one he draws a Star of David on the left. 216 We’ve had Elijah’s mantles and coats, and every other thing, but that—that’s—that’s—that’s just to throw off the real thing when he does come. See? \[JBP\] In the book of *Quotations* he speaks of \[WMB\] “we’ve had Elijahs, and Elijahs’ coats, but the Elijah of this day is the Lord Jesus Christ,” it says something like that. Here, in this other book of *The Seals*, on the left he writes: *\[WSS\] «**Elijah**»* there. \[216\] That’s right. All kinds of people that’s wore the robes and the garments, and been buried in all kinds of hoods turned around, and everything else. That don’t…That—that just only vindicates. Like a bogus dollar, shows there’s a good one somewhere, if you can just find it. \[JBP\] And it’s like we spoke this morning: that the hardest thing is to find the One who comes afterwards, meaning, the successor.\* \*\[Chat “Seeing the Vision in its materialization,” 26-1/Jan/2025 (Sunday), pp. \_\_-\_\_: 1997-06-21 “Pastors Meeting”\] Elijah found, located, the hardest part. Anyone may say: *“Well, imagine!, to find Jehu and Hazael to anoint them as king; that was really going to be impossible.”* But look, it was harder to find the successor; and when Elijah found him, that’s it! That was the hardest part: finding his successor. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] In the book of ***Quotations*** is what we quoted: 1471; page 165, paragraph 1471: \[65-1127B - “Trying To Do God A Service Without It Being God's Will,” p. 28, para. 212\] \[Bible Study #258, 25/Nov/2022 (Friday), pp. 15-16 / Bible Study #310, 26-2/May/2023 (Friday), p. 15 / Bible Study #357, 5-2/Nov/2023 (Sunday), pp. 23-24 / Bible Study #367, 10-2/Dec/2023 (Sunday), p. 45\] *1471 – “\[212\] That wasn’t Elijah; That was the Spirit of God on Elijah; Elijah was just a man. Now, we’ve had Elijahs, and Elijahs’ coats, and Elijahs’ mantles, and Elijahs’ everything. But the Elijah of this day is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is to come according to Matthew the seventeen-...Luke 17:30, is, the Son of man is to reveal Himself among His people. Not a man, God! But it’ll come through a prophet. Now, He never had two major prophets at the same time, never, in the world.”* \[JBP\] And there he writes: *\[WSS\] «**Two major prophets**»*. *\[WSS\] «**The Son of Man in a prophet**»*. *\[WSS\] «**Elijah = is Jesus Christ**»*. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] Now, it continues to say here \[***The Seals***\] \[P. 248\]: \[216\] Like a bogus dollar, shows there’s a good one somewhere, if you can just find it. See? \[JBP\] Here in this other book of *The Seals* he writes: *\[WSS\] «**What’s false is a copy or imitation of what’s true**»*. \[JBP\] If there is a copy and many try to impersonate, then there has to be something real, there has to be one that is true. 217 So here He come. Now these dignitaries come out, and they was so on their substitute! “Why,” they said, “now, if the Messiah comes, He’ll certainly come to Caiaphas. He’ll come to our denomination. He’ll come to the Pharisees.” The Sadducees, “That’s what you think! He’ll come to the Sadducees.” And there they was, see, the same thing they have today, now. 218 But when He come, it was strange. He will come, oh, very contrary to what they thought, but He come according to the Word. And they didn’t know the Word. 219 Let me say that, real, so you’ll…it’ll sink way down. I want this to get it. That’s what’s the matter with you today, see, you don’t know the Word! See? 220 Jesus said, “You can discern the face of the skies, but the signs of time you can’t discern.” Said, “We have Moses.” 221 So, said, “If you had knowed Moses, you’d a knowed Me.” Didn’t know Moses, and therefore they didn’t know. They just know a creed that they had hatched out. \[JBP\] In this book, he writes there… in the Notes: *\[WSS\] «**The Pharisees expected the Messiah, to come to their denomination, and the Sadducees expected Him in theirs; yet He didn’t come to any of them**»*. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] Now look, in the message “THE ANOINTING THAT PRODUCES THE MATERIALIZATION OF GOD’S WORD,” which was preached July 30, 2011 in Bogota, Colombia, our brother William tells us: **THE ANOINTING THAT PRODUCES THE MATERIALIZATION OF GOD’S WORD** *Dr. William Soto Santiago* *Saturday, July 30, 2011* *Bogota, Colombia* There is a place where He says that: “Behold, I come as a thief,” or that He comes as a thief (Peter and Revelation also says that)… \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] That is in Second Peter; Second of Peter, chapter 3, verse 10: **2 Peter 3:10** *10 But* ***the day of the Lord*** *will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.* \[JBP\] There he writes, above “the day of the Lord,” he writes: *\[WSS\] «**7th millennium**»* that is, seventh millennium. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] Also Isaiah, in chapter 2, verse 1 on, it says: **Isaiah 2:1** *1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.* *2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains* (\[JBP\] there on the left he writes): *\[WSS\] «**the capital of the world**»**, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.* \[JBP\] Look, there, on the right, he writes several Scriptures. He writes: *\[WSS\] «**7th millennium**»*. And he writes: *\[WSS\] «**Rev. 7:2, 14:1, 1:10-11, 11:3-7**».* And also between the paragraphs, before the 3rd one there, he writes: *\[WSS\] «**Isaiah 60:1-5, 59:20, 11:1-9**»* that’s in Isaiah. *3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.* *4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.* *5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.* *6 Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.* *7 Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:* *8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:* *9 And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.* *10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty.* \[JBP\] On the left he writes there: *\[WSS\] «**Rev. 6:12-17, 19:11-21, 10:1-11, 11:3-7**».* That is the Coming of the Son of Man with His Angels. *11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.* *12 For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:* *13 And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,* *14 And upon all the high mountains* (\[JBP\] there he writes): *\[WSS\] «**kingdom, great nations**»**, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,* *15 And upon every high tower* (\[JBP\] and he writes): *\[WSS\] «**cities**»**, and upon every fenced wall,* *16 And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.* *17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.* \[JBP\] And he writes: *\[WSS\] «**Rev. 6:12-16, 11:1-19**»*. Now, notice how the apostle Peter, and also Isaiah, show us the Coming of the Son of Man. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] Now look what our brother William continues to say here \[**“THE ANOINTING THAT PRODUCES THE MATERIALIZATION OF GOD’S WORD”**\]: \[WSS\] … “Behold, I come as a thief,” or that He comes as a thief (Peter and Revelation also says that); but let’s leave that alone, because it is the Coming of the Lord for His Church, which will be a total secret, which will be revealed to the Church (\[JBP\] in the Church-Bride), revealed as it was revealed to Peter, revelation from Heaven to understand the Coming of the Lord to His Church at the Last Day, in the fulfillment of the Seventh Seal. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] In the book of **“THE AGES” unedited**, on page 511, it tells us there in paragraph 129…, a bit before that, the Scripture says: \[60-1231 - “Revelation, Chapter Four Part 1,” pp. 21-22, paras. 124-126\] \[124\] I want to get another, you can read it on down, get the 28th verse here, ’cause you can read the rest of it when you go home. *Verily—Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death,* until *they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.* 125 Oh, think of it! “Some standing here, some standing here, shall not taste of death until they see the Son of man coming in His Kingdom.” \[JBP\] There on the left he draws a Cornerstone, the ages, and an arrow towards the Cornerstone. On the right he draws a Cornerstone as well. \[125\] What a statement! How the critic likes to pick that up and just show how dumb he is, see. How he likes to get a hold of that, and it’s come to pass and they didn’t know nothing about it. See? All right. 126 After Peter’s rock confession, which we know that his confession is…He would build His Church on this same rock. Not Peter, being a little stone, as the Roman Catholic tries to say it. But Peter’s confession of the Revelation, that’s the Church. God will reveal It; not a confession of this man, because later he backslid. Not a confession of Him being the Son of God; because they knew He was the Son of God, Peter just said it. But what it was, was, the Revelation that had been revealed from Heaven that He was the Son of God. Said, “Flesh and blood has never taught it to you, but My Father which is in Heaven revealed it to you. And upon this rock, that rock confession, I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not affect…prevail against It.” \[JBP\] He draws a Cornerstone and the ages on the right. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] Now look, in a notebook, he writes: *\[WSS\] «**Before the adoption* (the adoption of Jesus)*, they, Peter said: “You are the Christ \[the Messiah, the Anointed One\], the Son of the living God, the Anointed One, the Christ of God**»*. *\[WSS\] «**And today He is the Christ \[the Anointed One, the Messiah\], the Son of David \[King of kings and the Lion\]. They will not taste of death till they see the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom**».* \[JBP\] Before the adoption of Jesus, notice, Peter made that confession, before Mount Transfiguration. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] Now, notice here too, in this writing, he writes there: *\[WSS\] «**The adoption of Jesus…**».* So that you can see there how… he put that there: *\[WSS\] «**The adoption of Jesus and Rev. 19**».* Let’s see here, so that you can see it; and that refers to this page that we are reading: \[The picture is shown on the screen –Ed.\]. *\[WSS\] «**The adoption of Jesus* *and Rev. 19:11-21. The Word* *and the Name…* *Jose**».* Now, the revelation of who Jesus was, notice (on page 511), was not about Peter, but about the revelation of who He was; and that revelation had come from Above, from Heaven. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] Now look, our brother William continues to say \[**“THE ANOINTING THAT PRODUCES THE MATERIALIZATION OF GOD’S WORD”**\]: \[WSS\] It’s because the ones who have to believe are the elect, the ones who will receive the faith to be transformed; and therefore, that mystery will be revealed to them. Just as it was revealed to Peter, and then to the apostles as well… \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] In the message **“THE ANOINTED ONES AT THE END TIME,”** it tells us on page 41, Reverend William Branham says: \[65-0725M - “The Anointed Ones At The End Time,” p. 35\] \[Bible Study #418, 7/June/2024 (Friday), pp. 51-52\] *\[160\] But here is the Word, Christ Himself, that’s the anointed Word* (\[JBP\] and he writes): *\[WSS\] «**Moses and Elijah**»* *which shall come for the rest of His Body, the Bride. The anointed, of the same water that watered the wheat, as we talked about, also waters the tares,* (\[JBP\] there on the left he draws a Cornerstone and the ages; and the word “body” an arrow from there to the Cornerstone) *anointed ones. Only the Elected, or predestinated, will be able to detect the difference between them.* \[JBP\] And on the right he writes: *\[WSS\] «**The Word made flesh**»*. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] Now, our brother William continues to say \[**“THE ANOINTING THAT PRODUCES THE MATERIALIZATION OF GOD’S WORD”**\]: \[WSS\] Just as it was revealed to Peter and then also to the apostles, when Christ says to Peter, “Flesh and blood have not revealed it to you, but My Father which is in Heaven” (round chapter 16, right, Miguel? Of Matthew). \[JBP\] Now, notice that Jesus knew who He was. He asked them: “And you, whom do you say that I am?” \[Matthew 16:13-20, Mark 8:27-30, Luke 9:18-21\] Now, Jesus knew it. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] Look at what brother Branham says in the message **“WHY CRY? SPEAK!”** on page 43 it says: \[63-0714M - “Why Cry? Speak!” pp. 39-40, paras. 273-280\] *273 Jesus never cried when they brought the maniac boy to Him, that had epilepsy, falling into the fire. He never said, “Father, I’m Your Son, and now You sent Me here to do so-and-so, and so. Can I heal this boy?” He never said. He said, “Come out of him, Satan!” He spoke, and the boy was made well.* *274 When He met Legion, with two thousand devils in him, it wasn’t Jesus crying. It was the devils crying, “If You’re going to cast us out,” oh, my, “suffer us to go in that herd of swine.”* *275 Jesus never said, “Now, Father, am I able to do this?” He said, “Come out of him,” and the devils took their flight. Sure, He knowed He was the Messiah.* \[JBP\] He writes there: *\[WSS\] «**Jesus knew Who He was:* *The Messiah = the Anointed One.* *Jesus spoke and it happened**»*. \[JBP\] Now, notice, He identified those devils; but notice… where did they go? Into the swine. And notice how He says: “Don’t cast pearls before swine.” \[Matthew 7:6\] Meaning that a person who has…, and speaks and blasphemes, and speaks against the Divine Program and against the Work that God is carrying out…, notice, if He said that pearls shouldn’t be cast before swine, well, those are people who have those spirits. And there Jesus is identifying them as swine; they are animals. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] Now, it continues to say \[**“WHY CRY? SPEAK!”**\] \[P. 40\]: *275 Jesus never said, “Now, Father, am I able to do this?” He said, “Come out of him,” and the devils took their flight. Sure, He knowed He was the Messiah.* *276 At the grave of Lazarus, he had been dead four days. They said, “If You would have been here, Lord, he would not have died.”* *277 He said, “I am the resurrection and Life.” Amen! Not where, when, or how. “He that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” Amen. He knowed Who He was. He knowed what He was. He knowed that He was Emmanuel. He knowed He was the resurrection. He knowed He was Life. He knowed that in Him dwelt the fullness of the Godhead bodily. He seen them little people there, and He had seen that what God had told Him then to do, and there He was. He went down there.* *278 He never said, “Now, wait, I’ll kneel down here. All of you kneel down and pray.” He said, “You believe that I am able to do this?” Amen. He asked for it.* *279 It wasn’t Him; it was them. “Yea, Lord, I believe that You’re the Son of God that was to come into the world.” Oh, my! There He is identified. Something has got to happen.* \[JBP\] Now we see another occasion there. He was identified there in that case with Peter; on that occasion with Peter something had to happen. Here he was identified in the case of the death of Lazarus, brother of Mary and Martha; and she identified him. It says: “Something had to happen.” *\[279\] Something has got to happen.* *280 “Lazarus, come forth!” He spoke, and a dead man come forth. Not, “can I?” He just spoke. When the faith was met, the thing happened.* \[JBP\] That’s why there can’t be one bit of doubt. He says that unbelief cannot enter; that that Church \[WMB\] “there can’t be one bit of unbelief,” he says: \[WMB\] “The Holy Spirit will not let it enter or will cast it out,” that’s in the book of *Quotations*. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] Now it continues to say further on…, brother William says in this message that I am reading \[**“THE ANOINTING THAT PRODUCES THE MATERIALIZATION OF GOD’S WORD”**\]: \[WSS\] (…) If it is for resurrection, the Word must be spoken by the Holy Spirit through the instrument that He has so that it becomes \[real\] a reality, to materialize that creative Word. No matter what it’s for, the Holy Spirit must speak, through the instrument that He has, so that the promise is carried out. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] That is why in John, chapter 5, verse 25, He says that the dead will hear… Let’s see here: chapter 5 of the Gospel according to John, verse 25, it says: **John 5:25** *25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.* \[JBP\] And there he writes: *\[WSS\] «in flesh»*. That is, through that instrument. \[*Dr. Jose B. Perez*\] And notice, our brother William continues saying \[**(MM) “THE SOURCE OF THE POWER OF THE LORD’S ANOINTED ONE”**\]: \[WSS\] And at the end time, the Source of the power of the Lord’s Anointed One for the Last Day will come from where? From God. God will be the Source of that power, which will be manifested by the Spirit of God through Elijah and Moses, through a man who will be on Earth at this end time, and through him, the Holy Spirit will operate the ministry of Moses and Elijah; and will do all these Works that are prophesied to be carried out. Therefore, it won’t be a man who will be doing these works but God by His Holy Spirit through a man, or God by His Holy Spirit speaking through a man. And that will be the Voice of God; because “once more will God shake the Heav-... the Earth; and not the Earth only, but also the Heavens,” Paul says in Hebrews chapter 12, verses 21 to 29. Therefore, at this end time we will be seeing the Works of God promised to be carried out, under the power of the Most High God, Creator of the Heavens and the Earth; a power that will be manifested by the Spirit of God through the Two Olive Trees. The Source of the power of the Lord’s Anointed One for the Last Day will be God through His Holy Spirit; and therefore, those will be the Works of the Holy Spirit in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and then in the midst of the Hebrew people. \[*Dr. Jose B.
